Just had the call, start 31st July :-D iv had a look on sports direct but, most the boots have metal eyelets? I found a pair of safety shoes with fabric eyelets, anyone know if safety shoes would be acceptable? Cheers, congrats to all who had the call, see you there lol B-)

    Hi everyone

I started my application in January and completed it in April. I am still waiting on a call. I phoned and e mailed manpower a couple of times and got the usual about as soon as something becomes available. I had an e mail today from manpower stating the same thing.

Seeing that a lot of you here got calls recently I am getting a bit desperate. Anyway congratulations to everyone who got a call.

    Hi

I waited since Feb, it's horrible cause no matter how much you contact Manpower, you don't get anywhere! It's just about being patient.. It's hard though but it will come!

Yeah mine was from Feb too.

To the people starting July 31st - Have you received the email yet? I'm still waiting.

And does anyone know about the parking at the airport? How much it is etc? Is this explained in the email?

    Thanks.

Hi, yeah I received the email the next day.. You have to park at the airport and catch a shuttle bus, but that doesn't apply during the dates of 31st Jul - 8th Aug because of plant shutdown. So between them dates were able to park on site.

It is all explained in the email and there is directions attached to the email and pictures of Safety Boots to get. See you there :)

Thank you for your advice. I will keep waiting for a little longer I guess.

Heads up to all asking about safety boots if you are on trim and final you can not have any metal eyelets zips on clothing etc ect safty trianers are fine as i wear them occasionally when my job requires them i think land rover works differently to jaguar as all manpower staff are required to wear safety boot/shoes at jaguar if it is not part of your wes pack you do not not have to wear them
