I had my interview a few months back think it was feb. As for staying in contact with manpower I called them.occssionally but didnt hear anytjing that was useful to my application. I was told the relavant people will get a call and the confirmation email by next week.

Agreed, unemployment is the worst feeling!! But Manpower don't help anything by not always giving useful info! I only know of 1 person at Manpower who has helped and, always answers my emails! I was told it will be July/August time before they recruit again, 200 jobs at Castle Brom. I ain't too sure now after what Rash has posted, could be sooner? A few people have been getting "the call" so, it's hard to say if/when it will happen for us? Just have to keep waiting and be patient I suppose. lol:D

The problem is that we know there are more jobs in the pipeline, we have been told in the summer, but Manpower can't say anything officially or give any dates until they get the nod from JLR.

It's frustrating I know, but there is nothing to be gained by getting worked up about it, keep in touch with Manpower, but keep it polite and professional, try not to let your frustration show through.

Hey guys just an update. There were 52 in my intake, and a new group are starting next monday after shut down. I heard they are taking on 800 in total so there should be more phonecalls to come. Good luck everybody

Hi mate congrats on getting the call what number did they call yo from? I had 3 missed calls the same day one from land rover 0121 722 2424 and other from manpower mobile number, called them back the next day and they said they would look into it and get back to me, still waiting for them to get back to me. Hope i have'nt missed out because i missed the calls.
