Hi,
I assume you all/are about to start at castle brom site? Anyone from Solihull site with Manpower? I work at Solihull site with Manpower, but need to know if anyone has any ideas what is going to happen with the agency staff, as we currently do 4 shifts, but this is going down to 3! Not been confirmed yet but the rumours are about, and obviously not enough jobs if a whole shift is disposed of. The rumours are it goes end of year, then coming back in March? Very unsettling as nobody seems to know what is going to happen with agency, or care for that matter! Would appreciate any info if anyone has it. Must add that I have been there since feb this year.

Hi mate.. What dept you working in?
I've been in trim and final at Solihull for 3 wks now and rumour there is that it's so busy there is talk of going from 3 shifts to 4 lol..
I did speak to a manpower bloke last week who said there taking on another 1000 staff after Xmas..
Loads of other rumours on the track but best just to see what will be will be..landrover_worker wrote: »Hi,

I've had lots of people saying how bright the future is and that we've joined at the right time. Plus there is a new car coming out after Xmas, so I'm not to worried about it..
I guess until you join the JLR payroll after 2 years anything could happen.0 -

Today i received a text mensage on my cell phone from Jaguar Land Rover telling me that my assessment event on 01/12 has been postponed, and that they will contact me in the new year..
I'am appling for skilled trades at Jaguar Land Rover, has anyone that are applying for the same role at JLR have received some info about their assessment event to be postponed?
