just a quick question for the Manpower employees. We should have all got our payslip for last week which was the first week of shifts. Can anyone confirm what hourly rate we should be on. i got 13.32 an hr . i looked on the pay rates sheet that they gave us on induction and this relates to 'double days'
is this right because i also saw on that sheet Early Shift part 1 £14.01 late shift part 2 £14.01...can anyone can tell me what these are for then as i was expecting around the £14 mark?
Also does this mean we qualify for the 4.5% rise 01/11/12 or not0 -
Bimma, Double days is correct & yes we do get the 4.5%.0

Been at Land Rover a month today, it is going well, money is good, weeks go quick, hard graft but worth it0

I'm glad you're enjoying it MrK. The days are over before you know it and the weeks just fly past.
Lets just hope we continue as we are and even more jobs are created in the manufacturing and supply chain.0 -

In reply to your question bimma, the early shift part 1 and late shift part 2 pay rates refer to whoever is working 3 shifts (mornings, afternoons and nights) I also get 13.32 an hour as we are only working the 2 shifts as of yet which are mornings and afternoons.
And regarding your other question from what I've been told we will qualify for the 4.5% rise because as manpower staff we are on 80% pay of JLR staff not 75.5%. So if they're pay goes up so will ours. Hope this helps0 -
cheers for the info fellas. you are right we do get the 4.5% rise. a lad on the track was saying he received a letter in the post about it and he is manpower aswell. i havent had mine yet though..0
