How do you know the jobs have been taken? Im currently waiting for a response after doing all stages of the recruitment process. Gutted if there full now
Started at land rover yesterday, and I asked the lady why have we started here and not castle brom, and she said because all of the places have been filled.0 -
yeah but that could mean they have already selected the new starters and havent informed them yet so saving the spaces there for them.0

Right heres an update to any people waiting to be contacted.
I just phoned up manpower at castle bromwich and explained to them at what point in the recruitment process im at, and about the vacancies being taken. The bloke said to me they have 500 positions left of the 1100 available, and these will be filled between now and march 2013. When i asked when i was likely to hear from them he said to me that it will be when jaguar contact them and say to them we need 100 to start now or whatever. He also said that they could say they want a 100 to start november or they might not want any workers until start of January! so im afraid its a long waiting game....0 -

Cheers for the update Kraig..
Someone on here said there the new shifts were starting towards the end of October. So hopefully we won't be waiting to much longer. It's 4 weeks this Thursday since I had my interview, had the successful email the following day.
Plus there is always hope they may ask some of us to go to Solihull like a few of the guys have this week..0 -
Looks like we could have a long wait on our hands then, I had my interview a week ago today and successful email the day after. It's just the longest waiting game I have ever had! Although at my interview the guy who dealt with me was quite adamant that 15th October was a main start date0

with the amount of tip offs about the mid october take on it looks like it could be more fact than fiction then. Good luck to you all and keep us posted0

What worries me I'm yet to see anyone who has to serve a notice of 1week+ get a job at jag.0

hey guys, to keep you updated, i started today! only 11 of us turned up, really small group.. instead of putting us on the pera training we've been put straight into the deep end, pretty standard work, was just watching today though, gonna be doing it for real tomorrow. on D Block Trim and Final, gl to everyone.
Alright mate, you had a long wait didn't you? Or am I getting mixed up ?0
