As someone who at one point in his life smoked weed, i can tell you now, it would have a huge impact on working. It slows you down, makes unable to make good judgments. And i can also tell you this, I don't know about trim and final, but in BIW your dealing with huge pieces of industrial equipment carrying car shells above your head. i wouldn't want to work next to you.

Had my interview on thursday morning, just wondering how long you guys had to wait for a phonecall or email? from what ive heard an email means bad news and a phonecall good?

ok mate, from what ive seen alot of people who werent successful recieved an email within 48 hours saying so. have you applied or are you working for them then?

indeed thats the way to look at it, a little heads up for you, once i did my manual assessment i didnt hear for 2 weeks, i became impatient so decided to ring, the lady on the phone said to me "whats your name?" so i told her and straight away she said: "you should have been phoned to come in for the interview already", and that was that, she booked me in a few days later, god knows where i would be now if i hadnt phoned. and incase you may be struggling to find the right number, im applying for a position at the castle bromwich plant and i rang this number: 0191 221 1440. hey guys, to keep you updated, i started today! only 11 of us turned up, really small group.. instead of putting us on the pera training we've been put straight into the deep end, pretty standard work, was just watching today though, gonna be doing it for real tomorrow. on D Block Trim and Final, gl to everyone.
