Hmm Pasareti seems a little bit cheeky to me! Though I have just joined them as it seems like a cracking deal! Might be worth suggesting you will leave if they dont match? All money counts!

You've probably already spent the £1.10 in phone calls complainingAll matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0

Hi all, just a little word to ponder. I think before you get into an insurance, you thoroughly read their policy. Don't enter to a situation where in you have no control. Ask for a representative, trow lot of what is questions. Thats all!0

We have used start rescue for the last year, paid about £35 for 3 star cover. Called them out to services on M5 owing to loud noise from wheel, they recovered us to home about 90 miles away with no worries. Only quibble was they took a long time to arrive ...around 1.5 hours I recall, glad it was a sunny day.0

Eurotunnel do a very comprehensive cover (EU breakdown plus replacement car hire, accommodation etc) and cover is provided by the AA but is much cheaper than AA or RAC and they cover cars up to 15 years old. They do short trip and annual. I have used them and also my friends even if going by ferry so def recommended.0

I recently joined QDOS after leaving the RAC (VW switched from the RAC to the AA this year on its warranty cover) and its prices are very reasonable.

I have been with AutoAid for many years, the service IS cheap for what you get in cover, but of late I noticed, that the sum I paid out on the 'recovery' took a couple of weeks to come back , used to be almost the next day, or two at the most. I had to wait quite a time too, more than 40 minutes, even in Town where the recovery vehicle is based. I wonder too, if the incident required more than a 'quick fix' , like a battery start, that I'd get no more than an offer to be 'towed' to a nearest garage , while AA or RAC DO roadside repairs, rather than just 'recovery' if they can ?0

Thought I’d share this one. I have just purchased a breakdown policy with Kwikfit that seems very reasonably priced. I can't comment on service as of yet but what it got for £46.10 is:
Home-start
UK roadside assistance or recovery to my destination of choice
Personal cover (so I'm covered in any car)
Up to 4 people in my house hold included at no additional cost.
I clarified whether the additional 4 people would be covered in any car even if I were not present, i.e. would they also have personal cover? Which they do!
So that's the whole household personally covered for a little over £46. What's more is there is no re-claim funny business (which would make me a little nervous).0 -
Will be looking for a new breakdown cover after being left at the side of the motorway in the dark and pouring freezing rain for 2 and a half hours. Thanks a lot RAC you'll get no more of my money.

Sounds great - what policy is that? On their website there is nothing about 4 additional people in the household.0
