And the blasted dog's eaten one of my SMARTS.
I have emailed to ask them what to do, bin it or return the remains, but as they always seem to take ages to get back to me, has anyone else had damaged SMARTS and what did you have to do?
That's one very smart dog!
Has the smarts changed? I have had a few that seem more 'newer' than normal and looks like you can see a battery inside.
Also...does anyone get emails asking if you've posted outside of your designated area? I've had two emails like this so far but I mostly tend to use the same postbox, I only have 3 in my list.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

I phoned them when that happened a lot to me a while back.
They said that the email is automatically sent when ever a SMART is identified as entering the postal system at an unexpected sorting office. So if your local sorting office is having problems and mail is going to a different office, you get the email.
She also said that it doesn't count against you or anything, they just need you to confirm that you did post it where you say you did.0 -
Thanks, the only thing I can think is that I may have put the return smart envelopes in another postbox other than the ones I normally post but I thought we could put these ones in any postbox? Hope I haven't got it wrong!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

They don't care about where you post the SMARTS to them, only where you post the items to other panellists.0 -
Wingobins - if you look at the SMART returns envelopes, you'll see that their insides are lined with foil (sort of) which prevents the SMARTs' radio signals being picked up as they progress through the system on their return to SMARThome.
My received items have been quite interesting these past couple of weeks. I've been waiting for a letter and hopefully some money from a great British institution, so wasn't suprised when I had an envelope from them - but I was surprised that it contained a SMART.
I'd quite like some magazines - do you think I'll get some in the future?0 -

I expect so. Most of mine have been 'lifestyle' publications, but I did receive a specialised medical journal..0 -

Hi Everyone, I am newish to the RM Surveys. I have completed 4 weeks of posting white envelopes out to the same person on different days. Today I have received 2 brown envelopes to be sent to 2 different people, I have also received 2 SMART and an envelope to return the SMART. I have no idea what to do with these as the instructions I have received are for receiving test items not sending them. Could someone please explain what I need to do as I would hate to make a mistake and mess it up.
Many thanks

Hi Shelly.
Smart envelopes - they come in every posting, for now pop it to the side, if you do have smarts to return that will be loggoed on your home page.
When you log in, (just as you did when u did the letters to same person), on there, there is a box that says smarts, if your posting needs a smart in that letter there will be a box that has 4 letters eg QWER then the smart, small piece brown foam (excuse description), there be a sticker with the same letters, this you then enclose in with the letter.
When you recieve a smart, when you load on postage recieved your go through through the windows and if you have smart click smart recieved then next screen you enter the 4 letters.
Hope that helps xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
