Hi all,
When posting back smarts, do you add a note reminding them your details and member number??
Thanks in advance for the reply:p0 -

My postbox only has one collection at 5pm each day, so it doesn't really matter what time I put post in it, it still sits there until 5pm.
What time would you record as posting, the correct time on the website or the actual time you posted it?
Many thanks.
I could be wrong, but my postbox has a collection time of 17:30. However, it gets emptied at about 10:00, 13:30, 15:30 and finally 17:30. I could be wrong and I suspect that this not apply nationwide, but they are the times mine is emptied because I have seen it being emptied on many occasions at these times.0 -
I had a problem over the weekend that I received a box and it had no R number inside but it did have a SMART, plus a block of packaging. I phoned the helpline this morning and was told to keep the SMART and send it back at the end of the week along with the rest of my SMARTS. I then have to dispose of the box and other things as normal. I hope that this will help other panelists you get items with no R numbers.:j0

I'm just annoyed that they haven't seemed to register my "I'm going on holiday" dates that I filled out just after I started this - I am supposed to post next Monday, but will be on holiday - no problem, I'll post the week aft... oh wait, that's bank holiday Monday, I guess I will be posting 2 weeks late!

In days of old, that post box would have shown the different times but in these modern days only the final collection is displayed on the box.
So it is important to state the actual posting time when logging items. If it weren't important, the question on the website could simply be "did you post before last collection time?" rather than asking for the real time.0 -

So the lesson from your experience is to phone them when it happens that you get an item without an R number.
(That is it is not that one should send all ones Smarts back at the end of the week.)0 -
Yes that is what I was told to do so if it happens again I will know what to do. The person who sent it put my sticky address label on the inserted sheet of paper, the one with the xxx on instead of the label with the R number and the posting details and that is where the trouble started.:mad:0

Could someone clarify what we do with the test items (envelopes and R numbers?) once you've logged them? I used to return them in a large jiffy bag but it seems they are not sending those to me anymore? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. its been about a year since they stopped requesting the return of items...
You may find that some business panelists are using old inserts which still tell you to return on a weekly basis but you do not need to do this.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
