Royal Mail set for share flotation (privatisation) in the Autumn. Does this mean we are all getting sacked? :rotfl:
Or will we be given free shares(like the staff) to carry on the good work? We need answers! ;)

whether they are charged up front or not, they will be paying for those shares

I received a letter with a posting date and time on it today. Hopefully no one noticed it.

    Hi

Me too plus the price of franking. Why can't they just use the Posting Plan? I do.

I didn't receive a sender pack for next week and there's nothing in my online posting plan either. How long do they usually use each participant for before 'resting' them? I don't think I've been doing it that long - a few weeks perhaps.

You're probably just getting a week off - it happens from time to time. As for 'resting' it varies enormously, depending on local demand. I must be well overdue at around 3 years!

I have a question about payments. I have been doing this for a few months now.I past the test projects and began posting 'live' in May. I received 2 books of 1st class stamps and a book of 1st class large stamps together with some commemorative stamps a couple of months ago, since then I have received nothing. When I was accepted for the scheme I was told I would be paid once per month. So far I haven't received any further payments. Can some of you more experienced RM posters let me know if this is usual. I just feel I am being asked to post an awful lot of letters and record received items and yet I'm not getting paid.

Make sure you check in the envelope you get sent weekly in case the free stamps they send you as reward haven't got lodged at the bottom. Give everything a good check. You should receive one book of 12 1st class stamps and one book of 4 large letter stamps every month. There's no 'payment' as such - just rewards in stamps.

Thank you. I will double check all the envelopes but I usually do this anyway and haven't seen anything yet. I did take a week off in June for holiday so perhaps that is the cause of the delay. By payment, I was meaning in stamps.

And there's (almost) always a slip of paper to inform you that your "incentive" has been enclosed.

Log in on Monday and look at whether there is anything for the following week. If there isn't and you haven't received an email from them saying you are "rested", then you could email.

(Don't expect a speedy response. I'm still waiting for a reply to an email I sent them early last week about the D2D survey.)

I received an email stating I was being rested in a few weeks, which meant this week, commencing Monday 15th July, should have been my last week to participate in the survey, however today I received another parcel for the week commencing Monday 22nd July which should have included my incentive but didn't.

How long does the resting process last - from you receive the email until you actually stop receiving the letters to pack?
