I'd just like to check please - I received a wrong item from another panellist today, it had my name and address on it but the sticker with the R number was for a different postcode and it would not let me enter online. I've emailed Kantar to let them know, I've disposed of the item and sent the SMART straight back to Kantar, hoping that is correct :)

    Hi

I had the same but no SMART. Like you, I sent Kantar a email. First time that's ever happened. Hope that panellist didn't have a lot of post to send:eek:

I have some packets to post at the post office on sat. It says after 1pm but before last collection. The last collection is 12.30. Do i post before 1pm or before last collection? Thanks in advance

Always post before last collection - truthfully you don't have to stick to the times on the sheet which, as you have discovered, are not always correct in any event. I post my letters on the correct day but at a time convenient to me before last collection (I did check with Kantar, its the day of the week that is important, not the time). Just make sure you enter the correct time you posted the item, not the one on the white sheet :)

Royal Mail set for share flotation (privatisation) in the Autumn. Does this mean we are all getting sacked? :rotfl:
Or will we be given free shares(like the staff) to carry on the good work? We need answers! ;)

I've just started too, had 2 envelopes to post this week and today got 2 more to post next week

All hints & tips gratefully received (I have already figured out that I can use the postbox opposite work as its in the same area code thingy as my local one which will help somedays)

Am just starting second phase of recording sent and received mail. Also, first week of recording unaddressed mail.

This week received my first posting pack, along with 12 first class stamps and 4 parcel post stamps. There are two envelopes to post next week.

Earlier in the week received £5 Love2Shop voucher for completing the last phase of unaddressed mail.

It could well mean that Kantar/TNS will be ditched when the new, ruthlessly efficient owners of the shambolic Royal Mail look at the contract and realise just how appallingly inefficient the whole operation is.

I suggest you read through this thread - most recent first as things change over time.

    My tips:

    To do:
Posting on the right day of the week before the last collection is the most important thing.

    Not to do:
Write on the envelope/package, in any way, that you will be posting at a particular date, time or PO or Box.

I received a letter with a posting date and time on it today. Hopefully no one noticed it.
