i had this email a few weeks ago and ive never posted outside my postcode area....i can only assume that its sent incorrectly or that perhaps the things i post go on a longer journey to a different sorting office occaisionally once the post box has been emptied...

Or maybe the postman emptying the box decided it was quicker to repost them in another box on his way home...........;)

I finally had a reply to my emails , took 8 days but they did reply , they said the stamps would be out with this weeks posting pack ( my 2nd week of active posting ) had the pack today and surprise surprise , NO STAMPS.

I replied to the email telling them to remove me from the survey saying it's now too much hassle for too little reward , if you get rewarded , bit of a cheek from them mind , asking me to continue to send/receive until the items stop coming.

I'll send the smarts back and keep the stamped envelopes , at least I'm building up a supply of £2.70 stamped jiffy bags , will come in handy for Ebaying.

I've noticed there's another new week on the unaddressed survey again , wonder if will still be going by Christmas ?

I have received this email today.

Firstly, may we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued participation in the Royal Mail postal survey – your contributions are extremely valuable to us. One very important part of the survey is that all our panellists ensure that the test items they send are posted from within their own postcode area. A postcode area is defined by the first one or two letters of your postcode, in your case (M). It seems that some of the items you have posted for us may have been posted outside of your postcode area and this means that these items cannot be included in our results. We would be most grateful if you can reply to this email to confirm whether or not this has ever been the case so that we can amend our records accordingly.

Has anybody else ever received this message. I have been posting since January and have only posted in postboxes in my manage post box list (4) and they are all in my post code area.

I had this a lot at one time, so phoned them. They said it tends to happen if there's a problem at the local sorting office so some or all of the post goes to a different office to be sorted.

You just have to confirm each time that you did post where you say you did, but it doesn't reflect badly on you in anyway.

    Hi,

I've been doing the posting plan since the first week of February and only ever received 1 set of stamps (12 x 1st class and 4 x 1st class large). So that's a total of 7 weeks with only 1 set of stamps.
I wanted to email them as I thought I was supposed to receive them more often than this?

Also I received an email 1st of March saying they were putting me on a break but they never actually did put me on a break and now I'm going to be a 'Private Panellist' and I've to await a phonecall from TNS to discuss further...

It sounds as though you may have been training for the first 7 weeks where you send all the post back to Mr W H. I believe you only receive one lot of stamps whilst training - this has just happened to me as I have been re-training after my 6 month break.

I have never heard of anyone being phoned about becoming a panellist - but nothing is surprising at the moment.

Suggest you just wait and see what happens next & keep signing in to check.

In response to my previous post I received a call today from TNS explaining that I'll no longer be posting letters to Mr H and will be keeping track of SMART cards etc and will be receiving magazines and other types of mail.

I queried the issue with the stamps and the person acknowledged the stamps have been delayed but that mine were sent last week.
I said I hadn't got any and got my most recent pack yesterday. She then sounded a bit flustered and said 'I'd say you'll definitely get them by next week'.

Not holding out much hope. But we'll see...

I've decided to be a bit cheeky on this one. Although I told them months ago I'd be away for 3 weeks, they still continued the unaddressed mail ones for part of this time.
So I'm ignoring the first 2 weeks of March, filling in this weeks, then seeing what happens. Got to be worth a try.;)
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Just joined, seems a really clever scheme, hoping still stamps given! :)
  • I got my first proper posting pack today, how exciting :) Not so happy about my posting plan next week - they want two trips to the post office at different times in the same day. Sorry but I work in a different town - going to be a problem!
