I'm sure this has been asked before, but I did read several pages worth before giving up...
For the first time, under "where to post item" it says either post office or post box. For post office, does it mean the box outside the post office, or do I have to go in and hand it over at the counter? Thanks for any advice...0 -

You can use the post box outside, as long as it's not one of those annoying small boxes that won't fit.. then you have to hand it in and not tell them what you are doing.0 -
I signed up to the unaddressed survey right at the beginning. Just got my three week session starting yesterday. No e-mail to say I was doing it, just saw the box on logging on. Also doing Correctly delivered0

I've had the Unaddressed survey reappear as well, nice of them to let us know about it - not. Fortunately it only started this week and the stuff was right on top of our paper recycling pile. Still, its another fiver to add to the Correctly Delivered I'm starting at the end of the month, rather enjoying being rested actually as I still have plenty of stamps left2020 Wins:

Just signed up for a Correctly Delivered survey next month and also been accepted back to the main panel after a 6-month break. (Re-) training starts next month so I hope the weather is better by then. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

I have lots of books of 1st class stamps from doing the survey's, more than i could ever use, what do people do with them all? Just sell them? Is there any way to trade them for large letter stamps at the post office or something of the same value?

For some bizarre reason which I've never really understood, stamps seem to sell on eBay for not that far off their face value.
You could try that, though you'll lose a fair chunk to eBay/Paypal.0 -
Dear Panellist,
Depending on where you are located, either you will be in snow already, being snowed upon, or be enjoying snow in the next few days.
Today (Friday) we have had to call a 'Snow Day' at our operations in West Bromwich. If you have a query, please email our helpline and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Although we encourage you to post items according to schedule (unless you're waiting for SMARTs to include in those items), if conditions are treacherous, please do not trudge or drive to Postboxes or Post Offices on our account. Safety first.
If you are unable to post due to adverse weather, please wait until conditions have improved, and once the item is posted, amend the date of posting when you register the item details online.
Yours faithfully,
Postal Survey Team0 -

If you need large letter stamps, you can use the first class ones for the face value and make up the difference.
You can also use them to send second class parcels and packets, again just work out how much the price is and stick on the right number of stamps.
I do it all the time for ebay - if I'm not sure, I go into the post office and ask them to check I've done my sums right.
I also give some away to my nearest and dearest. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
