Not necessarily. The system may know you are due to receive test items with Smarts from other panellists very shortly.0 -
Phew...thought I was getting the boot. Thanks!0

What do I do with the items I receive. Today I received my first two test items. Do i just record then online and then shred the contents or should I return them. The website is unclear because it talks about sending stuff back but I don't have any envelopes to do this. Many Thanks0

They changed the system not long ago. Test items no longer need to be returned to them once you've checked them & the info has been entered online. There are still various references to sending items back (including in some test items themselves), but it's not now required.
The only things we now send back to Kantar are Smarts, and only when specifically instructed to.0 -

I don't know why Kantar don't bring the FAQ and the training material up to date, thereby saving themselves the time and bother of having to deal with lots of unnecessary emails and phone calls from puzzled panellists.0 -
^ Agree, it's all poorly worded and there is so much conflicting instructions that it all needs to be clearly rewritten in one easy to read, printed pack they should send out. I can't even get the training links to properly open on my pc but from the other bits I've read they make it much more confusing than it needs to be.
I received some test letters saying they needed to be sent back so I requested a returns ennvelope and posted them - if they don't want them they should really make sure they don't send test inserts saying to do that!0 -
I've been doing this for about 6 weeks now. The last time I received the usual stamps plus a set of commemorative Olympic ones.0

Whereas I have had the email about being rested and now they want all my SMARTS back - the begining of the end for me! :cool:0 -
