An interesting view of education. One of the things that has happened over the last 40 years is a move away from only memorising information to pass public exams.

me i use common sense all the time little things like waiting for cars to pass before crossing roads,going to the smaller queue in the post office,not sticking my fingers on the hot do not touch fish shop range whilst waiting for my special

I fully agree with you. I know a lot of 'clever' people. Frankly, their logic and lack of common sense beggars belief.
