Says the online fantastist who claims to be a 'relocation consultant' whilst later admitting to having no landline or car. :p Shouldn't you be busying yourself putting your bed back into the wall at the moment? You wouldn't want to trip over it...

PS Between the 2 of us, there's only one person who has been on here previously posting under another username. And it aint me.
lol, you really do keep tripping yourself up Carmine, as you previously admitted your posts cannot be trusted.

It's for me to decide the best way for me to use my resources and get a return on my time.

However since you bring it up what would be the benefit to running a car for a year, losing money on depreciation, costs of maintenance, business insurance etc, etc etc, when I stated I work part time as a relocation consultant. The costs of hiring a car for a few days half a dozen times a year is much lower than owning one of my own. Of course this has been pointed out to you on more than one occasion but it wouldn't suit your agenda by quoting anything in context or in full.

Of course we all know that true money saving isn't in your interest and anything that can deflect, from the outrageously high prices UW charge for the gas and electricity they bill their customers for, is your real intent.

Isn't it for each individual to choose how they save money, or not, and, to decide what is in their own best interests? Yet, you and others continually try and denigrate a company that can be right for a lot of people.

I pay Utility Warehouse less for my utilities than I would to any other supplier or combination of suppliers. I use the Utility Warehouse pre payment card to good effect. If I can do it, others can too.

Any body who considers that last sentence spam, should think about the way that other members here keep repeating their mantra that Utility Warehouse has high prices. Utility Warehouse may not have the cheapest unit costs but if they spend enough at the shops serviced by the pre payment card, they can choose to pay less for their utilities than they would with any other suppliers. This is obviously not the way you choose to spend your resources and that's fine by me. I fail to understand what appears to be a fetish of a number of members here for trying to put the company down when there are others that have higher prices and far worse customer service. Utility Warehouse prices are consistent in each region. Some other companies offer low prices on certain (usually new) tariffs and make loyal ones pay make up their profits.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

"Spending enough" at uw selected shops doesn't mean your customers and friends/family pay less for their utilities at all!

It means they are busy fools - buying expensive energy then paying for it with a combination of cash and the cashback earned using the risky card.

Only gullibles who are mislead by the salesman would fall for this!

If you want to hear how uw salesmen are taught to mislead their friends and family by using the risky card to get the "benefit" of cheaper bills, listen to them being trained:

The purpose for some of us posting on this thread is to counter the misleading claptrap posted by UW salesmen like yourself.

You know full well that UW have just about the highest gas and electricity prices in UK. Yet you persist in posting the same message about paying less for your utiliities.

It has been shown time and again that most customers would pay hundreds of pounds more for their gas and electricity with UW - 30% more is a typical figure.

    Take your latest post:
when there are others that have higher prices

    Like who? give examples?
Utility Warehouse prices are consistent in each region

What is that supposed to mean? You have large regional variations in electricity prices. You even have regional variations in gas prices.
Some other companies offer low prices on certain (usually new) tariffs and make loyal ones pay make up their profits.

Undoubtedly true that all the major companies have internet tariffs that are in the region of 30% cheaper than UW prices.

Equally true that 'loyal' customers who stay on the Standard tariffs with that company pay more, however they all pay less than they would with UW.

It is also a bit rich for a UW salesmen to bemoan the fate of 'loyal' customers of other companies, when 'loyal' UW customers pay just about the highest prices in UK.

Also didn't UW introduce a £100 bonus(after 12 months of paying very high prices for new customers) but their 'loyal' customers get nothing!!

Am now reading this thread with all the spam filtered out. It's quite refreshing :-)

It's great, isn't it? No more wading through the endless, repetetive C & Q claptrap.

Maz is a uw rep who breaks the rules by not declaring this when he posts here. (Oh and uptoeyeballs has admitted he comes into this thread to wind us up!)

My gas with UW, according to energyhelpline, costs £60 more than with the current cheapest supplier

PS Of course, this £100 annual discount for new customers is not included in any of the figures Cardew or the switching sites show. Be careful out there...

Are we talking about the various consumptions you had when you posted on here when known as 1carminestocky?

Or the consumption you gave when known as Carespress.

You are a fraud! and your contributions are worthless!

    P.S. Annual discount eh!

Can you point me to where it says the £100 is an ANNUAL discount please operastar?

I think you'll find the reason comparison sites do not include this discount is because its a one off payment. NOT an annual discount.

The comparison sites only allow comparison of current tariffs, and give cutoff dates when discounts apply, so it is not unreasonable to show a discount even if it's not annual. The cutoff date is known, the enquiry date is known, so they should factor in the discount whilst it is availabe, or at least mention it with the conditions for it's availability. They do it for other company's tariffs.

This isn't an annual discount at all, (as all uw reps who post here know!), and has many ts + cs that gullibles must stick to:

In order to get the £100 back (which the gullibles of course must first pay for themselves via: joining the club, paying the monthly membership fee (what's that for?) and taking 3 services to include the expensive gas and electricity) they must also comply with the strange requirement to read their meters themselves at three very specific times.

Miss one meter reading and they lose all the cashback.

But really, what is the point of paying uw for their expensive g + e to get the "£100 discount" in the first place?
