British gas is Cardew's current company of choice.

However it has a pyramid structure. It has people who join at the bottom of the company hoping to get up higher.
    Really ?

Pyramid schemes were banned because those at the bottom pay more than those at the top for the same product. All pyramid schemes have a shelf life, once critical mass is achieved there is nothing left for new participants.

UW are the only energy company I know to tout for business on the basis that they charge higher prices so that you can make a residual profit from your friends, eventually running out of new friends to sign up.. Hmnnn, sounds like a pyramid to me.

Once again you didn't read what I said, I never offered proof, for the same reason you can't offer proof.

I'm not now a scientist, you are at least correct on that point, but I was before I retired. I still read, I still tinker, very occasionally part of a collaborative effort, mostly to answer questions I was never able to answer fully while employed.

Yet you believe I should follow humanism. For what reason. You question Christianity and believe in no god. You laugh at Christianity. You laugh at others. Yet you have no particular reason to know why you do. Do you laugh at your self for not knowing. It seems that by virtue of your own arguments and reasons you now believe you don't know because you have no proof. So you are agnostic, then. I haven't changed my position and belief however from one post to the next you have changed yours, so how do you know which one of those is correct now. Are you agnostic of atheist or are you still undecided. Before you were certain that god didn't exist yet now you will change that view because you know you cannot prove he doesn't. Well does that not put the whole argument for atheism in question. The so called upper hand of the enlightenment movement, scientific reason, that argument is unscientific in itself.

Of belief and faith and love, the most important is Love. Love your fellow man, use less energy. You will get a lower bill as well.

But you pay a lot more than me for your bills. Yet you are telling me I should move elsewhere. I haven't suggested you change yet you tell people to move away from UWDC and suggest they are a pyramid scheme. You don't even give reasons, just because you told them to.

So in what way is UWDC a pyramid scheme? Or do you just like to brandish a term around like with your belief system.

My customers stay where they are not because I tell them to, but because they want to. They are getting a good deal with their many discounts. Free will as it were, something else god gave us. 2 billion Christians choose to ignore atheists as well. I bet you don't like that either. You do not have the right to tell them what to do so what gives you the right to tell me or UWDC customers what to do.

So now you are suggesting I use Skype 24/7 instead of a landline?? What exactly are you imbibing at the moment? Talking of avoiding the question, pray tell me if this is such an amazing idea, err, why don't YOU do it? If you were now paying the cheapest gas and electric and you add in your BT phone line/BB/calls package (even accounting for the alleged £5/mth discount you get for threatening to quit then accepting ANOTHER 18 water-tight contract) will be paying £1957. This is the figure you will be paying from April 2010 assuming things stay as they are. Surely (for once) you will practice what you preach and go for the deal you have highlighted?

You made the 'rock solid' calculations!

However when challenged on those you go off into hyper-distraction mode.

    Just answer the questions:
    A. Once again you have totally avoided the questions.

If your figures are 'rock solid' then let us have them e.g.

    1. UW gas and electricity £2199,

    2. Broadcall £?????

    3. Discounts £???? (how they are achieved)

    B. What is wrong with my figures in reaching £1448 by taking cheap electricity from another company(and avoiding the £621 extra UW charge) UW Broadcall and Skype.

    C. Whenever you have lost an argument,( as you clearly have done here) we go off into an attack on my cards(of which I have said nothing), my financial acumen, etc.

    Just answer A and B.

It is a racing certainty you won't answer!

It was intended to be what it was.I already estimated £175pw you must put on the card to achieve your 4.8%. Just making sure you hadn't put the decimal point in the wrong place.

How can anyone forget how long they have been a member, it's right in front of every post ? but hey, anything to divert the discussion away from excessive energy prices.

To stop the pointless argument before it goes any further. You have your information wrong again kippen noedel. Carmine is actually correct. He should know, he uses the cashback card. I know because I use it and am also a distributor. You think you know because you are a landlord.

Yawn, is English your first language or is it just the written word you have problems reading and understanding.

I believe I said, I'm probably right and then say I have no proof. Hence the reason I say "probably". Whereas you make your statement with absolute certainty but offer no proof.

Whats the difference between your belief system and that of Mr Hubbard or Mr Icke ?

What proof of absolute certainty do you have ?

If you want to quote numbers, 71% of the world don't believe in Christianity, so obviously you are in the minority.

What makes your version of Christianity any more valid than the Mormons, Jehovas Witnesses, Rapturists, etc, etc, etc..

Why should any humanist listen to those whose doctrine is based on fratricide and incest.

I cannot believe that we get involved with vinny's ramblings.

I think that the whole aim is to deflect attention away from UW's high prices.

UW's gas and electricity prices are just about the highest in UK.

Most customers will pay several hundred pounds more for their gas and electricity. roughly 30% more.

That is an indisputable fact. Check any comparison website - including the WHICH website for proof.

lol, but it does explain why the UW doctrine is so fully enshrined within him.

It's called Blind Faith for a reason.

anyway, on a separate point isn't the church Englands' largest landlord once again ?

Not sure about Englands' largest landlord but they were the biggest landowner AFAIK. Is Vinny COE then? How do you know, has he stipulated his faith?
