" Telecom Plus says Npower has not taken up a six-month option to acquire a 29% stake in the company.
The call option, granted to Npower by directors and senior employees, has now lapsed.
This would not affect arrangements under which Npower is supplying all the energy used by customers under an exclusive agreement subject to two years' notice.
CEO Charles Wigoder said, 'We enjoy a strong and positive working relationship with Npower from which both parties are deriving considerable commercial benefits, and anticipate this will continue for the foreseeable future.' "

I think we can thank The Honourable Charles Wigoder for his skillful and most successful direction of Telecom Plus Plc through the last few years. With respect, onto greater success in the future. A lesser director with his eyes only on profit taking and personal gain would have simply tried every step to sell out to NPower. Another proof that the directorial board that The Honourable Charles Wigoder has chosen to associate with are there as a commitment towards company, distributors and customers to give best service both now and in the future.
If anyone saw the feature film Perfect Storm there is also a book. Upon that book is much controversy as to events. With respect to the real people involved, only they know the true nature of what happened and why.
Some may ask what this has to do with Telecom Plus Plc. Hypothetically, if Charles were a captain of a ship, would you trust his directional steering and leadership.

I can only speak from the perspective of a shareholder and customer but I breathed a sigh of relief when I read the npower news last week. Short term I'm sure I could have made an even better profit than I currently am making, but medium and long term I think this is very good news for customers, shareholders and, I'm sure, distributors. npower...shudder. I actually wish UW didn't even get their fuel from them.Call me Carmine....

As for your analogy of a ship, I'd try and persuade family and friends not to become a passenger, you wouldn't want to be in an accident with the crew that are employed. Woman & children would certainly not be first into the lifeboats. It'd be every man for themselves there.0 -
I can't see any way TP won't become a £1 billion company, I think the real question is how long this takes...Call me Carmine....

Many companies have sank recently. Many once dominant companies have been hit by the icebergs of recession. The true test of a company is its worthiness through the icy sea of the past few years. If its core business structure is sound even during recession then what can stop it. There are many dangers out there for all to face. Many storms and icebergs temping fate. People have a choice, either trust in the skill and judgement of another to steer around those problems or stay at home and hide in the cupboard under the stairs.Quentin's Cashback Card?

I am a Utility Warehouse independent distributor and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.
