    hello YPM the guarantee is that we are cheaper than bt for line rental and local/national calls. packages are not included. hope this helps

    Sounds as worthless as the other uw "guarantee"

    UW line rental = £12.63/month (includes compulsory club membership fee and minimum monthly call charge).

    BT = £11.25/month (on line a/c)

    Same here, I just find it strange that you seem to be replying for Keggs :confused: Did you forget who you were logged in as?

    Thanks i have found the small print now. The guarantee is only based on comparism with the BT Weekend Plan,and only applies where UW provide the line rental.

    Say no more !!!!

    "Price promise is only applicable to Home Phone residential customers where all telephone calls are being routed by
    us - we cannot under any circumstances accept responsibility for the cost of any calls routed to other telephony
    providers. Price promise applies to total cost of using our Home Phone service compared with BT, excluding club
    membership fees, short-term promotions, special offers or surcharges but including charges levied by BT or ourselves
    to participate in any relevant discount scheme on a comparable basis. “Cheaper than BT” guarantee based on
    comparison with BT Unlimited Weekend Plan and only applies where the line rental is being provided by us."

    I was reading the latest Which ( Oct 09) at the weekend, even though Utility Warehouse were at the top, Which also said whilst some of their products are priced competitively eg Broadband, if you take gas and electricity you will pay around 20% more than with the cheapest UK supplier.

    Which is exactly what UW apologists deny, although these facts are proved again and again. Though 20% is a conservative estimate, you would pay 23% more in my area using Ofgems standard user criteria.

    I've said once or twice that it would be prudent to take only broadband and phone with UW, which you could have for free if you spent enough on the UW discount card. You could even make a profit. Its nice to see Which magazine has taken on board my thoughts.:p

    I wish you would make your mind up mate. You've announced your MSE retirement numerous times, making your goodbyes. Then post again within 30 seconds, I cant handle the emotional stress of the goodbye, only to be reunited soon after.
