I am still a distributor for UW and WHICH member. I was never approached to vote in the survey by UW and in fact did not. People have to be WHICH members to vote and I suspect that as *I* was not approached to vote, it was not rigged.
It depends how you define 'rigged'. You might prefer the term totally unrepresentative or discredited.
I did not suggest that UW HQ openly solicited their reps to vote.
I made the point that the selling structure of UW means that there are huge numbers of reps - many(like yourself) no doubt members of Which.
Now you are, happily, somewhat disenchanted with UW. However if you were still aiming for the Car or 'Salesman of the Month badge with 3 gold stars!!;) ' it would only be natural that you would have a strong vested interest in filling out the survey and reporting favourably on UW.
The fact the the number of UW contributors was proportionally much higher than their market share, says it all.
So I say again - the survey is discredited.0 -
I think maybe the lack of discussion on this topic (which you seem so anxious to continue) could be due to a lack of interest in uw matters on this moneysaving site in general, and this latest product in particular.
I suspect it is more that you are so effectively demolishing the opposition single handed.
I don't read The Trolls posts, but I suspect attacks against you will become more personal as his frustration mounts!0 -
Quentin - there is only one word to describe what you have said and that is rubbish. You really don't know what you are talking about this time.
End of argument from me. We will only up going round in circles.
You seem fixated on what the fine detail of what UW offers trying to find something to be negative about. But you clearly refuse to acknowledge the main point of my post namely that people make up their own minds whether it is worth it for them or not.
Regards

Do you expect anyone to believe that? :rotfl: I would imagine your finger has hovered over the reply button on a few ocassions already. Demolishing the opposition single-handedly?? In what way, exactly?
PS Great 'cop out'...again.:pCall me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -

I am not that disenchanted with the company as I get my utilities from them because they provide the best deal for my circumstances. I am still a distributor because I have customers to my name. I have said before that the company has faults, but, IMHO it is not the worst by far.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

I suggest that you prove your statement or retract it.

That's just the thing - Cardew doesn't 'do' retractions/apologies/humility. I will forward several of his posts on to both Which and UW, let them decide on what he is trying to say. It's the only way you will ever get an apology from this one...Call me Carmine....

You've boobed, mate. There's no 'I think' rider this time, you are now issuing a statement, which can of course be challenged legally.Call me Carmine....

Any survey organised in the manner that Which did on Utility companies is discredited, unrepresentative and open to abuse
Is that clear enough? You don't need me to repeat the reasons I assume?
Incidentally, do not Which have a policy that their information cannot be used by company representatives without their permission. No doubt the reps on MSE that quoted Which obtained that permission?0 -

Do you uw reps come here looking for business, or just to sharpen your overcoming objections skills to use when accosting gullibles down at Morrisons?0
