Now you are, happily, somewhat disenchanted with UW. However if you were still aiming for the Car or 'Salesman of the Month badge with 3 gold stars!!;) ' it would only be natural that you would have a strong vested interest in filling out the survey and reporting favourably on UW.

The fact the the number of UW contributors was proportionally much higher than their market share, says it all.

So I say again - the survey is discredited.

Quentin - there is only one word to describe what you have said and that is rubbish. You really don't know what you are talking about this time.

End of argument from me. We will only up going round in circles.

You seem fixated on what the fine detail of what UW offers trying to find something to be negative about. But you clearly refuse to acknowledge the main point of my post namely that people make up their own minds whether it is worth it for them or not.

I am not that disenchanted with the company as I get my utilities from them because they provide the best deal for my circumstances. I am still a distributor because I have customers to my name. I have said before that the company has faults, but, IMHO it is not the worst by far.

That's just the thing - Cardew doesn't 'do' retractions/apologies/humility. I will forward several of his posts on to both Which and UW, let them decide on what he is trying to say. It's the only way you will ever get an apology from this one...

You've boobed, mate. There's no 'I think' rider this time, you are now issuing a statement, which can of course be challenged legally.

Why on earth should I retract the statement?

Any survey organised in the manner that Which did on Utility companies is discredited, unrepresentative and open to abuse

Is that clear enough? You don't need me to repeat the reasons I assume?

Incidentally, do not Which have a policy that their information cannot be used by company representatives without their permission. No doubt the reps on MSE that quoted Which obtained that permission?
