Here's the deal; if I tell you (again!) will you ask Quentin for a link to the cash back card he's been recommending on here?

I've no control on what Quentin posts. Though I would appreciate your thoughts on what I've outlined previously. If you claim you have already told me, just post the link, ta.

No-one knows why you would make such a misleading post, but it has been known for uw reps to post as satisfied customers of the uw without also declaring their interest in the post like you did.

Bearing in mind this is a site devoted to moneysaving, why do you think it isn't a headline recommendation for us all to switch to uw?

I clearly stated my reasons for staying as a UW customer including the energy not to become a customer. It was in reply to a post from jimexbox. You obviously have a problem with that. My intention is to stay as a customer. You can't even provide a link to your UW beating cashback card so why would anyone listen to what you have to say. Being a customer for 8 years I know what you say about UW is incorrect by experience. I get cheaper where I am already. I am a man of my word and a man of standing and question your rectitude directly.

You clearly have an open intent to attempt to discredit others. If you want to take the moral high ground with people expect to have your false challenges openly debunked. You obviously do not follow the ten commandments. Thou shall not bear false witness.

You make out UW distributors use mind control methods to get customers with links to videos that bear no relation to want you state.

We can only go on the evidence on the net!

This is from the intro to the video you refer to:
The Utility Warehouse again welcomed Big Al to the stage to cover the concept of using the right word sequences to encourage a more receptive response from those people who are evaluating the Utility Warehouse business for the first time
Ready to go out talking with some prospects. Manipulating the minds of others for fun and profit...........

It was made at a uw reps rally were thousands of reps paid to go along and learn how to "Control their mind and freeze their brain with four words..."I just found out..."......... ":

  • I switched to UWDC six months ago because E.ON sent me a letter saying that my monthly direct debit would go up to £50 from the previous £27 ... !! ... and without so much as a 'by-your-leave' ...

But being a 73-year-old OAP it really made me fume. Now though, with UWDC, I can pay-as-I-go as a "light user" (which I make damned sure I am!!) .. monthly payment is around £30 a month. Come October I'll pay a bit extra to cover me over the winter period.

Changeover from the E.ON spivs was seamless and - touch wood - so far, no customer service problems.

Bit rich coming from you, in view of all the unpleasant personal abuse, childish sigs, etc. you post here.

    Regulars do.

But your recent post praising uw wasn't aimed at regulars. On the face of it (to any newcomer just reading the latest pages) it's a glowing testimonial from a uw member (not a senior rep with a vested interest).

But you were aware of what you were doing.

Why not just do what your colleagues do and stick by the rules?

Or do you feel above them?

Your false logic blinds your ability to see clearly, Quentin. I am a man of my word and a man of standing. I see through your vile attempts to discredit. How many times have you attempted to discredit others on here only for it to be dashed. Let you be judged by the same measure that you judge others.

I would contend that UW energy is for no one at all. Its clearly vastly more expensive than tariffs offered by those nasty big 6 suppliers
How do you explain away the fact that Carmine, I and others pay less for our utilities than with any other company? Your contention is your belief, not a fact.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

Er, its summer, so your 'pay as you' monthly bill should be very small. The vast majority of our gas usage is obviously used for heating through the winter. I think you will be paying more than 'a bit extra'.

    So you keep telling us.

Others who have read all your posts, and seen the childish nature of some of them together with the personal abuse (and childish sigs) can make their minds up over this without your constant claims!

Will anyone please please answer this very simple question? Why waste you hard earned discount reducing the cost of UW energy, when it would be better spent on getting free broadband and phone from UW? Then choosing a much cheaper online tariff.

Is this such hard question to answer? I sure new/casual readers will be alarmed at the evasiveness of the UW folk around here.
I have posted my figures and shown that I pay less per month for my utilities than with quoted cheapest ones. This was before a 2% decrease in prices. I shop at Sainsbury's on my way home from work and use the pre payment card to good effect. I still get Nectar points when I shop at Sainsbury's. Today, I spent over £60 in Sainsbury's. Not only do I get over £3 off my Utility Warehouse bill, but, I can now get 5% of my diesel spend towards my utility cost for the next two weeks. And, when I buy my next lot of fuel in the week, I will get 5p per litre off that spend too. I like getting a paper bill every month that is simple for me to understand. This method suits my lifestyle and wants. *I* am happy with what I do. Earning my "discount" is easy for me because it fits in with the way I did things before the card came along. If it suits me, it can suit many others too. You mentioned choosing, I choose to shop this way.
