You could still get those (and more) discounts directly off your shopping by using another cash card, and buy your utilities cheaper elsewhere, instead of having to just use the discount to make it seem the package is "competitive".
Where can *I* get them? Sainsbury's is on my way to and from my work, as are Aldi and Lidl. I do not have easy access to Tesco, Waitrose, Somerfield, Morrisons etc. I use the stores that are convenient for me personally, not you or anybody else. There are also hundreds of people within half a mile of where I live in a similar situation as far as location goes. Many of them shop at Sainsbury's. I know because I recognise them. These people could take advantage of the card and Utility Warehouse but most of them do not as that is their choice.

Personal choice is something you constantly ignore in your posts, or, fail to understand.

The problem about trying to argue with the few successful ones in a mlm/pyramid type company, is that they are certainly well trained in brushing aside objections. Even though the objection is not really addressed.

Linking getting the price down of expensive utilities by saying you need to factor in getting the benefit of using the (risky) cashback card is no argument at all.

You could still get those (and more) discounts directly off your shopping by using another cash card, and buy your utilities cheaper elsewhere, instead of having to just use the discount to make it seem the package is "competitive".

So saying the comparison sites don't include them is irrelevant - they are comparing the cost of the energy!

(And why does the comparison site we are told is actually run by the uw rep come up with the same prices as all the others)

I do find this statement hard to take seriously from someone who wastes no time 'bumming' just the one cash back company all over these forums (including almost daily updates on the level of cash back and coining what appears to be a sublimal ad phrase, 'Quidco-like cashback' in completely unrelated threads). And we all know that cash back is not in any way guaranteed. So, 'risky' in your parlance. Strange.

PS Can someone who Quentin isn't pretending to ignore ask him for a link to this cash back card he keeps banging on about. He hasn't provided ANY info on it since he started jabbering on about it many moons ago. We need to see full details so it can be evaluated.

Some easy to spot lies include:
The one where you stated I had committed offences when I was in the Police. You have still failed to provide evidence or apologise.

You also failed to add the small print which goes to show that you selectively quote things just like the people you complain about.

But there's a big gap between becoming a new ID and having 'built a business'.

It is the new IDs that are most likely to be *cough* inaccurate when selling, and despite vinny's protestations, needing to sign up x customers in y months to get my £200 back is pressure.
So the IDs under most pressure to get customers were also the ones given 'a thick volume' that 'quite a few scanned it and got on with trying to earn some money'. UW made no checks that they had even done this.

As to the 'did they jump or were they pushed' - does it matter? (they may have even jumped just before they were pushed). UW has not been making sure that people selling its products have been trained consistently to work within the agreed industry guidelines. I dread to bring up energysure - all I got last time was Carmine going - 'but look, SSE are bad too'.

That's because they are! :D Mis-selling from just about ALL Big 6 companies is regularly stated by posters on here. I'm assuming these sellers are all fully-trained/ Energysure accredited? So, what's going wrong?

Do you deliberately miss the point? Using your cashcard discount to get the price of your expensive utilities down isn't moneysaving.

You don't have to be a uw member to get discount off your shopping at sainsbury's by using a cashcard! Then you could buy your energy (much) cheaper elsewhere.

That is a lie, and you know it.

You have threatened me with libel over this unless you got an apology.

Why not put up or shut up?

No. I choose to save money the way *I* want to. You still can not bring yourself to admit that others have a right to decide what they want, or, you fail to comprehend that they are capable of making their own decisions.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and any views expressed here are my own and may not be shared by the company.

You know you could get gas and electricity cheaper elsewhere, and then use any shopping discount as a true moneysaver. Yet just ignore this valid point.

Having the reps pay to attend a rally to hear big al teach them how to manipulate their prospects minds goes a long way to establishing their reputation.
As you should be aware from the context of the expression "manipulate minds," it was a joke. Having said that, if you can not see that another person has free choice about where to buy utilities, I doubt you understand the concept of humour either.
