QT and book club in one post

best thing ever on QT was Arthur Scargill when The Satanic Verses was being discussed. All the politicians were giving their opinions, saying the book ws this and that. Then he gave his.

He apologised for not having had the time to read the book himself so didn't think he should give an opinion on the quality of the book. However if they wanted to hear what he thought of the death threats, he could comment on that alone.

Its about the overcharging on prepayment meters....

"Greediest of all is on-line energy firm The Utility Warehouse Discount Club which over-charges by £140 for gas and £87 for electric. By Contrast E.on and Npower did not charge A PENNY extra."
