Anyway changing the subject, nobody has mentioned about the MP expenses claims while I have been away. Does that mean that people have completely become obsessed with UW to not notice things happening elsewhere. Could it be that the outside world has no meaning anymore and the UW is the only thing worth talking about.

Of course there is an anti-UW faction on this Board; and as you are “wondering what the reason is” let me explain – at least from my perspective:-

1. We are heartily sick of UW reps spamming on this Board.

2. UW reps claiming that their gas and electricity prices are good value when they are amongst the very highest available in UK.

3. A refusal by UW reps to condemn sales methods that are a disgrace.

Without this opposition to UW, MSE would be swamped by UW reps who might convince readers of this forum that their gas and electricity prices were not just about the highest available in UK.

If UW reps stuck to recruiting gullible friends and family, and not use MSE, there wouldn't be a problem.

If there wasn't folk willing to challenge the nonsense written by the many UW apologist's (although there are one or two notable exceptions who are fairly reasonable) this thread would turn into a UW 'love fest', think Woodstock circa 1969. Every ridiculous assertion by a rep or sock puppet would be met by a useful post click, or a pat on the back, or both. Unknowing readers finding this thread would then be lulled into believing that UW were actually a money saving panacea, rather than a utility reseller taking an extra cut for themselves.

You reps should be glad a few folk are willing to offer balance, without them you would be even more embarrassing than you are now. So really you owe us big time...

Mm. We have now reached the level of debate after so many pages. If you have lost the argument, your 'challenge' in tatter and you are refusing to answer questions. There is only one refuge. Which is to accuse those offering valid but differing opinions of having a 'hate campaign'.

Really carmine I would desist from this avenue of defense. Its even more embarrassing and futile that the normal one.

lol, I actually quite like Carmines approach, it's much more subtle than most of the others & one pompus prat in particular and I know he has a sense of humour.

Sure, one or two UW guys are reasonable and jocular. Its the overly aggressive, even spiteful tone of a minority that do more harm than good for the cause. Calling someone stupid endlessly while offering no reasoned argument just makes themselves look foolish.
