As the energy prices are so much higher than the rest, your customers must be getting their other services at a terrific saving!
And why would anyone interested in saving money "volunteer" for expensive gas and electricity?
If the other services are such a bargain, why aren't we all just taking them?0 -

lol
My findings have been that the gas and electricity are higher for some and not for others! one of my friends would have saved 200 a year on his gas tariff, but UW were dearer for electricity.
I did actually say in my post that it is a complete numbers game and some companies are dearer, some are cheaper. What part of that are you finding hard to understand?
I actually think in my post that I don't exactly lavish praise on UW, you seem a tad bitter for some reason and a bit aggresive in your postings. calm down, have a cup of tea, stop getting so excited!0 -
Do you tell your customer that UW are more expensive than most if not all energy suppliers, and the the triple guarantee is worthless? It fine you telling us this, its UW customers that concern me.0

It must be noted here that in his attempt to beat my proposed UW '4 services package' on price (this was after I'd decided to take out the cashback card discount element of anything up to £450 per year as it was proving impossible, lol) Quentin suggested Tiscali as an alternative phone/BB/calls supplier . Says it all, really. I'll not say what another poster suggested to save money on personal calls as it would just open up old wounds...;)Call me Carmine....

Hi arteta1878
Welcome to the forum but I'd advise you not to get involved again. You are on to a hiding to nothing with this lot. Unless there is a specific query which you can help with then I wouldn't even make a comment.
However, if you are prepared for an argument then go for it.
Good luck with your business. You have made a lot of sense but most here aren't looking for that they simply want to prove you wrong even when you are right.
One person even libels someone then reuses to apologise. That's the sort of people there are here
Best wishes

He/she has already stated that the savings occur when the 4 services are taken (and all the free/inclusive calls kick in) so I'm not sure where you're coming from here, jimexbox. Not everyone is allowed to make personal calls from work, you know. It's a potentially sackable offence for the vast majority of the UK workforce, I'm sure. You have great employers, clearly, what with it being written in your terms of employment that it's allowed and all..Call me Carmine....

So are you telling me that every single UW customer signes up for the full package? If not, why are they with UW then?
Yeah my employers are nice folk, they are lucky to have me too!:p0 -

The average take up is apparently 3.13 services per punter so more or less, yes.*

Ps they are great employers, perhaps you would like to give them a mention and a recommendation on here?
PPS Plus you are forgetting about the cashback card. I would imagine the majority of people who shop regularly in Sainsburys (t/o almost £20 billion last year so there are millions, clearly) could be paying less for any service they took from UW compared to the cheapest on the market. Take one service, for instance.Call me Carmine....

I tell them what I have already told you, that prices are different everywhere. UW prices are competative, which I believe they are having looked around and checked them. I am not saying that they are the cheapest, I never would say that to anybody.
I also leave out the triple value guarantee as I see little point in it, again as already stated.
For me the USP is having 4 services on one bill with one supplier, making savings with the cashback card and the free calls all times. I think that is a decent offering, do you believe it isn't?0 -

You did say:arteta1878 wrote:I would like to state that IMO UW are a very reputable company
I posted some disreputable facts about the uw, which you chose to ignore, and instead resorted to this personal attack.
(But if you read the thread you'll see we see this as the norm for uw reps who get challenged here when they make claims like that!)0
