I also still get a few pounds a month, of course it would be considerably more if I were to get one new customer in each month, but I could not live with myself if a sold a mate something when I knew there were far better products available elsewhere.

The reason we are members of this forum is to help others and ourselves save money. It would be hypocritical to then try and make money elsewhere by selling someone a product that we knew was not competitive.

    Nigel.

Or perhaps they lost interest because the penny dropped that the service they were promoting has nothing really to offer any longer by way of saving people money.

The USP of one bill is useful, but dont you pay a Monthly Membership Fee for this.

Some people can save reasonable amounts of money compared to their current spend. Some people who actively look for a good deal and actually sign up for it perhaps will not. Although there have been criticisms of T+ customer service, I have found them to be reasonable, and certainly better than I had with both BT and British gas.

The membership fee is allegedly just that. However, I always assumed that it is to pay for the billing.

Overall, it isn't too bad a deal. There will be some annoncement about telephony and broadband I suspect, as the annual meeting was yesterday.

Nigel is always loyal to UW, but I doubt anyone could defend the UW distributor who has posted in that thread that he will give out the phone number of an innocent BT customer currently being plaqued because they have been allocated his friend's uw phone number so that we can ring the number to verify his libellous claim that "BT have stolen the number". (BT are of course in the business of renting out phone lines, not stealing them back from UW which would mean no income for them!)

I thought I was defending the company:j but, I would rather under claim and over perform than the other way round.

The new line/calls/broadband deal isn't showing yet. It should come on line at the beginning of next month. I understand there is a bit of work to do for the change over and they want to get it right. I will have to read up on it as I didn't go to the big day because it was Mum's 84th birthday and I want me inheritance:beer:

The company frowns upon acts that will damage their reputation and Distributors who do, get their marching orders as a matter of course.

It seems to me that some people get overly emotional about what is just business. I am a loyal person and will give them the opportunity to give me satisfaction before I take my trade elsewhere. Any organisation worth their salt will make every reasonable effort to put any problem right to the customer's wishes. That said, some people are never happy and I would rather just move on.
