This may have been done before but I'm gonna post my car details and journey MPGs for comparison
2002 Ford Focus Ghia 2.0l
26 mpg.. lots of three mile journeys (work and back) through the winter
28 mpg.. same but around this time of year
31 mpg.. as above for a month but with a 120 round trip today on A and B roads 70 to 40 mph
42 mpg.. summer trip last year to lake district from Norfolk. Lots of motorway then hills and mountain passes for 3 days

2007 citroen C3 1.4 diesel.
55 mpg going short distance to work and back 1.5miles each way through out winter and summer little difference.
60 mpg on more normal usage.
70.5 mpg on trip from manchester to lands end and back, nearly all motorway. Been trying to better this but seems to be my limit.0 -
Auris 1.4d 49.3mpg mostly town with a few long journeys over 12 months. Best mpg for an automatic we have ever had.0

2.0 Ford Mondeo TDCi Econetic six speed manual.
15 mile each way commute, 95% motorway, 41.2 mpg reported by the onboard computer. Kinda crap really.0 -
Saab 95 2.3 turbo modified to 290 bhp.
24 ish in "normal" driving.
Best was 36 @ 75mph on a trip from the midlands to Cornwall.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -

Daf 33, 33.5mpg overall average (mostly local short stuff) over the past 28k miles / 4 years and 40 - 45 on runs depending if she's towing or not.
Daf Daffodil 37.5 overall (again mostly local short runs) over past 6k miles / 12 months and 48 - 50mpg on runs.
Plus no road tax, so that's about 6 - 700 miles of free fuel per year0 -

23 mpg in 220bhp impreza turbo wrx.....probably wont be able to sell it with ever rising fuel!!Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
