My spreadsheet shows that I have only spent £312.86 so far this month so should have £37.14 left, but it is nowhere to be seen - where in real terms I am actually £8 over budget!!! Now realise the importance of keeping ALL receipts from shopping :rotfl:

note to self - get a little envelope to keep receipts in:D

    NSD here.
We had HM garlic wedges with HM cheese & onion pastie and spiced up baked beans for dinner.
I added freshly ground black pepper and Peri Peri sauce to C&B baked beans to jazz them up.

We had barbecue chicken, roast potatoes, cabbage, carrot and broccoli for dinner.

So tired after taking MR F out to get a suit and shoes for his Mum's funeral on Thursday. He had to be taken kicking and screaming!

I know what you mean about the suit. We had to do the same with my Uncle when my Gran passed away. Men!!

I get so much inspiration from your photo's. Had Mum through for a couple of days, and last night we had steak burger with some chips & broccoli-carrots-greenbeans-mushrooms. She did comment on the large proportion of veggies, but we both need to eat more and we also both enjoyed it very much!

Good evening just a Tesco shop to report will update siggy with details. I was tempted to shop again today as I had a five pound moc burning a hole in my pocket. I resisted the urge as I really didnt need to spend fourty quid, before I joined this forum I would have just gone and spent it on whatever to get the fiver off so am quite proud of myself and have had a NSD woop!!

Cattysmum, well done on resisting the temptation to use the MOC. It is something Ihave found very hard to do in the past. Now unless there are really good offers to stock up on I dont use them. Prefering to keep my money until there is a good offer on something I need.

This was tea. All made with whoopsied veg!

OH finished it off whilst I was at the hospital and took out a chunk! Its only me that remembers to move things around when they are cooking though as our electric oven doesn't cook evenly :o

That looks absolutely gorgeous. I must try sometime. My way of using up veg is to do it in cheese sauce with butter beans. This looks much nicer. Thanks for the photo.

The good news is I went and looked around Tesco Express and little Co-op and spent nothing :j

The bad news is I then spent £7.15 in Lidl!! :rotfl:

All but £1.00 was on diet pepsi and Colgate for my stores which I will buy back at a profit via Motherships Second Purse system.

Brekkie was granola and greek yogurt.

Lunch was tuna sarnie (seedy bread from freezer and tuna mayo LO from yesterday.

Tea is going to be pizza from freezer (Dr Oetker one from Sainsbugs with money back thingy if its not the best ever) and frozen chips......quick and simple to do once the decorator leaves and I can finally close some doors and get warm again!

Already defrosting YS/whoopsied beef for tomorrow.....
