Hi
Hope everyone has had a good weekend?
My weeks meal plan has gone wrong yesterday and today, yesterday we ended up going out for dinner and today we went over to my bro & sil, so in theory we should be very well sorted for the next week or so:D
Spent a total of £74.68 yesterday in Mr T's and HB's, so will add that to my sig in a min.0 -
£1.38 to add on for me today!
We were in the £1 shop for some essentials (not counted towards this challenge) and had to make up to the minimum card payment amount so though we would buy something useful and spent it on food!
Plus we ate with BF's parents so we are also one meal up on our meal plan! Yay!July Grocery Challenge : £40.41/£200.000 -
New registered user here but long time lurker.
My first challenge and I would like to say my target for April will be £200 which works out in April at £50 per week, with me and my 2 DD's I believe this is manageable.
I'm already doing a spending diary to see where all my money is going, and anything left over from the £200 will be thrown at my Barclaycard at the end of the month.0 -
Will aim for £170.00 this month, fingers crossed and good luck to everyoneJanuary grocery challenge £159.43/£250.00
February grocery challenge £209.53/£200.00
March grocery challenge £165.66/£190
April grocery challenge £186.27/£170.00
May grocery challenge £22.51/£180.000 -
Not done this for a long time and I realise that my spending is getting out of control! I've reduced my hours to part-time from this week, so I can spend more time with my 16mo DD.
My calculations as to whether we could afford this were based on £200 a month groceries, which I used to be able to manage on comfortably (before the baby) but when I pulled out and added up my reciepts for March, I'd spent £270 despite being away 10 days:o
So here I am, ready to enjoy the challenge £200 please including all toiletries, cleaning/laundary, dog food & baby stuff (nappies etc), so the general household stuff for 2 adults and a toddler.
I need to make this work!Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -

Another NSD.
I made cheese and tomato quiche today. We had some with roast potatoes, carrot, cauliflower and onion.
Cost of quiche - £1.28 - makes six portions so three day's dinner's for Mr F and I - equals - 43p each day. Far tastier than a shop bought quiche and more substantial. Plus no colourings/additives or preservatives. I made lots of pastry in one go - so enough for another quiche plus ?Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
