Can sympathsise with you OP,......but also wish to point out not ALL NRP's are NRP's by choice....some have had their children taken from them because PWC thought ' the grass was greener on the other side'!!!

all i say is you reap what you sow..... My DD is now 19, I never said a bad word about her NRP for yrs. Boy was it hard at times, tbh am suprised I didn't bite my tongue off with the effort of keeping quiet.
He promised her the earth and gave her nothing. Never paid maintenance. Never saw her. Promised her he was putting money into a saving a/c for her ( it was under £200) when she asked for help last summer when she was sorting stuff for uni.
She, of her own accord, now calls him her sperm donor. My partner is called dad ( brought her up from age of 1) He's let her down once too often and now she's an adult she can see it.
Of course he blames me for poisoning her, for forbidding her to see him -she's 19 and no longer lives at home so not quite sure how I can stop her seeing him? If she wanted to. And of course it ALL my fault for taking her away from him in the first place, I love how he forgets why I left...affairs and abuse

You do indeed reap what you sow, whether PWC or NRP

Fingers crossed.Surely there is something they can do though?

Mines currently ignoring the reassessment he asked for *rolls eyes* because he only asked for it thinking his payments woud be reduced then got told they'd probably be higher (should've thought about that when he neglected to tell them of changes in income and jobs years ago)

Been told because they can find no PAYE or self assessment, they cannot calculate income. If they go to his home his partner could tell them she supports him. So they are not going to bother due to cost.

FGS that sucks. All I can say hun,is if they give up now, whenever you find any info out yourself ie if he gets a new job, phone them instantly.Totally unfair

Anyone have any idea what happens when the nrp ignores the csa when it comes to reassesment? (he requested it just before I did and after being told his payments will probably go up has not responded:rotfl:).I know what to do if they try finding ways to get his payments reduced and the csa know they may be trying to do this so told me what we need to do if they do do this, but they haven't said much about what they'll do if he continues to not respond to reassesment. They could get his income details easily if they needed to,but I have no idea what their next step will be.He has until friday to respond, guessing he isn't thinking of the arrears he'll be accrueing either:rotfl:

Just got post and have a letter from CSA saying if they haven't heard back from ex by mid April they MAY make an interim maintenance assessment.
Do wish they'd make they minds up. Last week they told they couldn't do that !!!
