What More Can I do To Help My Son?

My son has difficulties too, although now he is in his thirties and in the right job they are manageable. I do understand how you feel about helping your son.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
We have now had the hearing and I think it went OK.
Well the hearing ended up being 8 days, instead of the original 3 that was set aside. It finished on Friday and we were told that they had to put 3 days aside for the judges to meet in chambers, so they could discuss remedies and the outcome. Does anyone know how it usually takes for the judges to carry out this part of the process? Although the hearing is over, it's still like there's a big cloud hanging over us as we don't know what the judgement will actually be.
I'm not going to lie and say it was anything but horrific for both my son and wife (my wife was a witness) and, it is certainly an experience we wouldn't like to experience again, although having said that, it the need arises ...
When we get the verdict through just for completion I will be sure to post the findings here.0 -

Hi,
Sorry about the slight name change, but I couldn't remember the details I used when I registered with the site, as it was so long ago. Anyway, I just wanted to bring those of you who have offered helpful advice and, who have had an interest in my sons
Yesterday the South London Employment Tribunal office sent us the following judgement. The judgement is/was as follows:
1. The claimant was subjected to a detriment on the grounds that he raised a protective disclosure.
2. The claimants claim for direct discrimination was not well founded and is dismissed.
3. The claimants claim for harassment is well founded.
4. The claimants claim for disability related discrimination is well founded.
Can I just add that within the judgement we were given a letter which gave us the option of dealing with the respondent or dealing with the ET regarding remedies. We have replied by telling them that we want to deal directly with the ET for a number of reasons. Is there anyone that could tell us what would be expected of us at the remedy hearing and what it entails, how long is it likely to last (this was a question that was put to us to decide, but we didn't answer as we have no idea what is involved).
Our son had no witnesses, was represented by his mother (who was up against a barrister), had a number of false statements made against him, in addition to having to stand up against 7 managers. Was it scary, you bet, was it worth it, we hope so :0)0 -
Hello again,
I'm not too sure if I'm allowed to post links on here, but I just wanted to post this one regarding my sons case. I hope that reading this will encourage all those who have been victims of discrimination, to fight those who are discriminating. The main advice is that my sons case didn't have merit, we knew this was not the case. I am going to be writing the complete judgement down, but its 130 ages, so will take some time. When remedies are known, we will also be posting these. If this is the wrong place to post this link then I hope someone will post it where they feel it could help someone who is experiencing the as our son did. Thank you.
P.s. just tried to post the link but received a message saying as a new user I can't :0( if someone could advise me as to how I can get this message, so that it is available to Joe Public please let me know.0 -
Well what about if I just say this its on facebook and the user name is Tesco ET Success Judgement. I hope I'm not breaking any rules and I'm so sorry if I am. I just really want those that are being bullied and mistreated to know that there is hope if you stand up against these people.0

Oh can I just add you have to start reading from the bottom up, as I am adding to it daily.
Thank you :0)0 -
