I have just been contacted by one of the employees telling me that I am due a refund for PPI from an old credit card! They did have the correct details for me which I really don't know where they've got these from.

They told me that the company was called My Finance but the call cut off. I thought I'd phone back and then they called themselves My Loan - which I thought was a bit weird so just jumped online to do a bit of investigating.

So glad I did now, the only info they have are my address and tel no but luckily no bank details.

Will definitely be giving them a wide birth, they sound seriously dodgy.

Hope that you guys get your money back.

I've just been stung by "MyFinance" for £39 , right after I was hit for £69.95 by LoanWizard .


I have had nothing to do with either website , and I immediately instructed my bank to investigate and block my card . Fingers crossed I'll have my money re-credited by the bank soon enough.


I`m happy I found this information , it is very strong evidence of widespread Fraud . The fact that they have "sister companies" based at the same address says it all really .


As for you people saying read the small print , most of us have never heard of these websites never mind seen them . I personally have not even been looking for a loan at all , somebody is throwing our details around ..... some people will be clicking a box for some random broker and getting charged by one of these Macclesfield companies as a result .... Who charges £60+ per membership for crying out loud ? It is an obvious scam , It's that obvious I'm sure Blackadder would have something to say about just how obvious it really is .
