You mean there is actually someone at Roxburghe who can talk without a script?:p

Having just read the post on CAG have these parasites got no compassion? I know they must hear some strange tales when going through their fictitious appeals process, but anyone who persists after reading the details of that appeal needs flogging!

As before I do prefer control over punishment.

We approach people and inform them before we take any enforcement action where possible even calling people up the road "Excuse me mate you cant park there" to which we are often greeted with either a thank you or a chain of expletives.

With the story above about the birth that is a disgusting case and if someone PM's me the details where possible i will call my contact at roxburghe about this ticket.

Don't tell me you know Steve Dargonne? :D

So did I - he's a BHA fan as well so he's not completely bad...:rotfl:

It doesn't take away from the fact that they are claiming for an amount outside of the losses incurred by your actions, which is an unlawful penalty, which they cannot give as they are a private company.

It's a non payment car park, it's permit based and you have a permit, therefore the losses are zero.

Excel know this! They are simply trying it on, trying to play you as a mug. Don't let them.

Thanks! I am definitely not paying now since I now "owe" them £100 :rotfl: but the only thing I was concerned about at the beginning is the fact that my permits were not clearly visible at the time... But I understand it makes no difference now lol

Just wondering about the legal side of things, for all private parking companies I mean.... Can they only claim back what they lost out on through your parking? So in my case it would be nothing lol
