Pigpen hope your time off goes well. Hmmm no Moggins, so snook on here after tea to post, can delay washing up for a little while. Going to cheat and defrost some steak to put in the casserole sauce that is left, few more veg and voila, tomorrows tea! DP said it's cheating, I say it's common sense! Anyways he's gone to work now, so just me the boys and the other animals. Might go have a soak in the bath once I get the boys to bed, aching all over off lifting flooring etc today.

I don't have a processor thingy now, but regularly lift the hand blender out before it stops and end up coated in whatever I am making. Pity last one was start of a curry and was onions, garlic, ginger and water, stinks!

Well the weekend is upon us, I have quite a lot on this weekend and a lot I would LIKE to get done, doesn't mean it will of course. Must do the usual weekend list in a bit and write everything down that needs doing.
One day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon all! Not posted for a few days as been busy trying to clear ironing pile from hell (Rach what's your secret for clearing it?).

Had a lovely relaxing day as neighbour picked up DS from pre-school for lunch and to play with her DD. Was a bit naughty and went shopping. Splashed out on some Cars for DS to put away for bday and Christmas, a few bits for DH and some expensive smellies for me - not very MSE  but who cares!

Pigpen - glad your DS got school of choice, have a great night off and stop flirting with that plumber :naughty: :rotfl:

this is it - please feel free to share here as you're amongst friends. I'm so sorry about what your DD is going through. You sound like a loving and caring parent. Would it help DD to know that bullies often do it through their own insecurity? It helped me when I was a child.

Denise - thanks for the photo of your office - great job and nice to see where you sit and 'talk' to us

Happy day off everyone and nose back to the grindstome tomorrow or Monday :T

pigpen thats brilliant news about the school.

meeting with education authortiy went ok they are going to help collect evidence of bullying as school have denied there is any dd is also being referred to a conseller theres an action plan for a few weeks to see what is happening she has a jernal (sp) to fill in and a school social worker will be monitering things also the other kids won't realise as the social worker sits in with random classes any way .if nothing changes then she wont be going back and thats what we said this morning .
as usual not really done much except went to get fruit and veg from market, and a quick hoover through downstairs.

I didn't tell DS what school he had got I gave him the letter when we got home. He REALLY struggled to read it.. then he realised what it actually said and he is absolutely over the moon!! He has jumped up and down and shrieked!! Now I have another £400 uniform to buy!! lol Worth every penny!!!

It's ok Nicki.. I spend all day speaking 2 year old.. I understood perfectly!! .. cuppa time to warm those neural connections!!

great to hear your DS got into the school he wanted/needed. I work in SEN and have a daughter who needs support, it must be such a relief..

£400 for a uniform?!!!!??what is it made of? Gold embroidered or something?? That is ridiculous.. Hoping he doesn't grow much or falls over and ends up with a hole in his trousers..

Not done much flying at all this week, and worked all day today. Came home, made tea, "flew" like mad, phoned my sister, had a moan about our manfolk and messy children, feel much better now.

    WM on
    Dishes done
    put away
    Emptied airer
    cleaned cooker/ worktops

a quick look on here, with DD2 moaning to get onto the computer and finish the kitchen,
    mop floor
    hoover living room

Not much pampering for me then, maybe a long hot shower later..

Sorry people but you are going to have to manage without me for a while longer. DH and I are splitting up and I have until the end of the week to find somewhere for me and the kids to live. I hope you manage without the cattle prod.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
