Went to farmers market today and bought £5 worth of potatoes and loads of carrots. Potatoes turned to mush when boiled grrrrrrrr. I could have got twice the amount of potatoes in ASDA for that and they would have boiled beautifully. Was trying to support local growers but doubt I will do it again as I need to save money. Hate when pots go to mush

We had this problem when we started using potatos grown from our allotment until someone told us you cook them for much shorted time as they're fresher. Don't know if that's the problem you've got but try cooking them for half the time. xx
    January budget
    Nothing left!
