just got back from 2 year olds nursery. Have to get a bus so take ages! lol I do get 5 hours in the morning to myself to clean and get everything just right.. untill that is he gets home! lol I only get this time once a week on a Friday so I try and make the most of my time! Then it's off to work as I work evenings 7 days on 7 days off. Very busy life! lol
Today I made myself clean and hoover under my bed. I watched this programme on dust mites and I just had to hoover under there! lol
So everything thing is done for today!! Will have to make a list Monday morning when I can start following your tasks! lolStarting my DMP Journey.0 -
Congratulations Master Piglet!!
pigpen, I am so pleased for you!!
My youngest is 12 now, and I can't tell you how glad I am that I never have to do the whole secondary school bit AGAIN! Kent still has Grammar schools, and in my area there is one school that no-one wants to go to, and some very oversubscribed church schools and high schools. Nerve wracking, and most parents spend a fortune on private tuition (no, not me).
I did the boys' bedlinen today ((DD's tomorrow as she's sleeping over at a friend's after a party), and if I ever get off this computer, I'm going to plant some shallots in pots, as I won't have time to get to the allotment this weekend. DS1 much better today. So feel quite like celebrating in a quiet way!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Yay Pigpen! Congrats to you and your son getting him in there. Thats great news (although what I've just typed probably doesn't make sense :rotfl: my brain has frozen as I've been out gardening :rotfl: ) :j :jCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

I didn't tell DS what school he had got I gave him the letter when we got home. He REALLY struggled to read it.. then he realised what it actually said and he is absolutely over the moon!! He has jumped up and down and shrieked!! Now I have another £400 uniform to buy!! lol Worth every penny!!!
It's ok Nicki.. I spend all day speaking 2 year old.. I understood perfectly!! .. cuppa time to warm those neural connections!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Well bungalow needs lots and lots of scrubbing and painting. new carpet would be good too! Am now thinking not selling and moving next week was blessing as boiler not working.
Pleased with myself though, found basket with lid for girls shoes that fits perfectly behind front door so very happy!!! I am sad I know but simple things please simple minds LOL!!
Pigpen glad you got some good news today!0 -
Hope you're ok Moggins - we miss the gentle cattle prod when you're not here;)lil_me wrote:HopeElizzy they are on in Newcastle again, not that I can understand why anyone would want to go and see them.
Well, I got my tickets......... I think my house has been abandoned today though:o
Pigpen - so glad your boy got his place - I'll bet you're very relieved
I did manage to get dinner ready just before rushing out to get dd from school - thought I'd be clever and slam all the carrots and swede in the processor instead of standing chopping them. Due to a slight mishap (me not putting the lid on properly one side) the kitchen was sprayed with carrot  Ds came in and said oh, carrot and went out again. So, the kitchen has been cleaned including the floor!"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
I have been flying but just not posting yesterday, I tried very hard not to put the Pc on until I had finished all that I wanted to do yesterday - I find it very hard to just come here for a few minutes I alway get side tracked and sit on the PC for thirty so I decided yesterday that I wouldn't even swtich it on until I had finished everything.
Unfortunately by the time I had finished I was so tried that I went straight to bed as I knew that I would spend another hour looking through this site etc.
Also had a very busy day (outwith the house) today so I am finally grabbing 15 mins to catch up.
Nice surprise to find out that today was pamper day - although reading the above posts everyone has been very busy, I have managed my dailies, an extra wash load, two weeks meal plans and the weekly shop.:j
Tonight will be a mixture of cooking the next fortnights meals and enjoying the bottle of white which is chilling at the moment.
Pigpen yes I am jealous that you have managed two nights out and a weekend away, but you deserve it after the wait for news of your sons school.
Rach many thanks for your advice re ironing last week, I am still doing some but have cut out a lot and its up to date at the moment:j0 -
HopeElizzy.. that is hysterical.. I do things like that AL the time.. I was blending leek and potato soup on time and didn't put the lid on properly and splattered the entire kitchen and myself with it.. and it was blooming hot!!
jjef.. we are intending on getting to the hotel before the bar closes as well!!and aiming (probably not very well) to avoid the traffic on the M1 !!!!
Just waiting for DH to get home and I we are away!! .. I have butterflies!!! lol How silly am I?!
I did most of todays list.. apart from the loo floor I reckon by the time I get back tomorrow noone will have done it and it will have 3 puddles of pee on it anyway.. so it can just wait!! If they really don't like it they know where the mop is!!
