    Mumoftwo, I'm sorry to hear about the funeral? Was it somebody close to you? Those kind of things are never nice in any case.

    I am well and truly miffed today.
    Had to run some errands this morning.. Go to post office (the main one on the other side of town) and I had to go to a building company to pick out new glass for in my front door.

    It was DH's uncle, his mothers brother. He was 82. Not very close but brought back memories of T's funeral, still had sore head.

    Go to postoffice.....was that to post a parcel to me???:D :D

    What is it with that man of yours just now. Don't jump in and "rescue" him, he was supposed to cook, so come what may he will have to do it, kids hungry or not, let him put up with the moaning (you can have something nice when you are out tonight ;) )

    I didn't do much flying today either, and working all day tomorrow as well. I did go into the kids rooms, worked on the cherry ade stain, made the beds and looked around, decided I couldn't be bothered and left again!! Sorry Moggins, will do better next week.

    ((((pigpen)))) Well, I'm in awe of how much you do! Last year I had to spend a month in Bangkok with a very ill DS1, leaving OH to manage with DD and DS2. I gather there were quite a few comments along the lines of 'I never knew Mummy did so much.' He's been very much more appreciative since! (And I have to tell you that he didn't clean the bathroom once while I was away. The day after we got back, thanks to jetlag, I was up in the early hours bleaching and cleaning!)

    Just wasting time here, as dinner in and on the timer, so nothing to do. DS1 coped ok at hospital, but now curled up having a snooze.

    Haven't done everything on the list, sorry moggins, but I'm quite happy as the house is so much better for all the past two months work that I can afford to slack a bit!

    Pigpen (((hug))) have a hug from me. Know how you feel with a lot of things, my DP does nothing (even the shopping bit and DIY jobs can take several years) but can't imagine what it's like when there are 8 to run around after rather than 2. I sometimes say he's just another one to look after, clean for etc etc, but I suppose it's true. Have to clear up what he left on desk before went out in a mo, go find the dirty clothes he's just took off etc, says it all really.

    Anyway. Got quite a lot done, 3pm swimming was cancelled again so have put the bags away instead of unpacking them, sick of doing it, then they are ready when they do go. Desk and L/R clutter is tonights job when boys have gone to sleep. It's mainly paperwork, books, magazines etc etc and tried doing it with them still up and failed.
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    First of all big hugs to pigpen - always really enjoy reading your posts and don't like to hear you sound as though you're having a down day.

    Not such a good day for me today flying wise but not too worried as the jobs on Moggins list weren't that applicable to me as no study/spare room. Whizzed round and did all light switches and lampshades and hoping to do a couple of my own jobs whilst watching tv just now, but spent over 2 hours at a hospital appointment with DD this morning - was routine so should have taken 10 minutes or so. That threw me completely and so didn't get the work done I should have done so felt I couldn't do any flying.

    Anyway, house nice and tidy from previous flying so will still do S&S round bathroom and kitchen before bed to keep all in order. Hope tomorrow's list is ok but going out in the evening so won't have much time when I come in from work to do anything. Don't want to fall by the wayside so early and don't want to be playing catch up at the weekend either.

    Right, off to sort out my magazine pile - trouble is I start to read them when I'm sorting. Can't bring myself to put them straight in the recycling bin.
    Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Pleased to hear you're feeling better Pigpen! Asking no questions when it comes to baths and plumbers. Heard too many stories when DPs brother was a plumber :rotfl:

    this is it bullying is so cruel, kids can be awful, saying that so can adults, hope you get things sorted, teenage years are bad enough without extra stress of bullying (((hugs))) for you both

    Anyway, tonight I have been organised, kids uniforms out ready apart from undies and a top for DS2 (will get them when I go upstairs) washers been on again as DS1 is actually asleep, tf his prescription arrived! Drier on now aswell, have got sausages out for tomorrows tea and chopped all the veg ready to throw in SC in morning, stocks boiling up on hob so that will be all sorted to throw in as taking my sister to get the carpets for her new house tomorrow, and paying for them, for now.

    Mag sorting, you just reminded me promised myself I would get that done tonight, have 2 boxes full of papers, mags, uni stuff etc thats just been dumped in and dumped in some more. Right off to get that done while stocks on.

    I would llike to present . . . a much tidier office:
    recentlydownloaded.jpg

    Just ignore the pile under the scanner - they are all now filed properly, too, and yes, there are still wires on the floor, but I'm hoping No.1 son will fix that when he comes home this weekend :)

    Friday so far:

    Kids beds stripped;
    Two loads of laundry on the line;
    Have walked puppy;
    A nice piece of corned beef in the SC.

    Still to do:
    Remake kids beds;
    Tidy kids rooms (with their help of course)
    Business/personal finances - should get both finished today.

    Pigpen - you've got to watch those plumbers . . . !!!
