Bright blue skies here so I suspect I will notice any rain cloudsIf the wind would drop it would be a beautiful spring day

It is windy and freezing here too. The WM's are just about to finish with DD3's bedding in.. she didn't put her nappy on last night so we have a wet bed... gggrrrrr... She can't even manage one night without a nappy at 6!!
the cat appears to have pee'd on DS2's coat as well so that has to go in the wash next.. a quick 30' wash on its own should shift that.
I counted the money in my pig.. she has £73 in this month, so that can go in bank later. I am swapping £50 in coins (£2-20p) at the local pub so the bank won't hate me too much. That can be paid off a credit card rather than the mortgage this month and I'll make a payment off the mortgage later on in the month.
After some of the things my husband said to me earlier I think he may be after leaving. The worst part is, I don't even know if I would be concerned. He is such a bully, or he tries to be, I won't be bullied, I just do my own thing regardless lol. He appears to be jealous of my mothers relationship with me, and my relationship with the children, and my relationship with anyone I happen to converse with.. including you lot! I think he may be having an 'almost-mid-life-crisis' ... my whole life is a crisis so I cope. I'm going to show him these lists of stuff I have done because apparently I sit on here ALL day.. that'll be about right! Because the hosue is a tip.. mainly because I've done very little the last 2 weeks what with half term and the rebuilding of the bathroom.. The kitchen is habitable though.
I can't do right for doing wrong can I?? Nothing I ever do is good enough for anyone I have brought nothing but disappointment to half the bloody planet I think. ok... pity party over before I have to slap myself!
I'll go have a therapeutic scrub of the bathroom for half an hour until I hve to collect from school.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh Pigpen
I always feel as though I am in the wrong about everything. I think you're amazing how you cope with all those children. Men always think we do nothing. If you stopped doing things he would soon realise how much you accomplish every day.

I think he forgets I am one person with 2-3 hours a day to clean (by the time I have done food and laundry and dealt with the 2 year old) and I am cleaning 10 person mess with one person hands!
the only thing I expect of him is that he helps with the children once he gets home from work, if they are still up, which is becoming a rare event! I can't stop at 5pm so neither can he as far as I am aware.
He does do all the DIY and a little of the shopping (top up milk and occasionally bread and bits for dinner on occasion) I do everything else.. washing, cooking, any cleaning that gets done, etc etc.. the problem is by the time he gets home from work the children ahve been at home at least 2.5 hours and have trashed anything I have managed to do during the day.
Anyway, he stomped off to work this afternoon and I really don't care if he doesn't bother coming back right now. I'm doing dinner for myself and the children and he can starve.. hit him right where it hurts.. in the stomach!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
AND to make me feel really lovely.. Last night when I was sick I appear to have broken the little capillaries around my eyes so my eye lids and eye bags (lol) are covered in little red marks.. you know like a pressure mark.. stunning I am I assure you!! Mumoftwo, I'm sorry to hear about the funeral? Was it somebody close to you? Those kind of things are never nice in any case.
I am well and truly miffed today.
Had to run some errands this morning.. Go to post office (the main one on the other side of town) and I had to go to a building company to pick out new glass for in my front door.
Two little things you might say, but that cost me my entire morning! Work this afternoon, so I got no further than clean up breakfast dishes, get showered and changed for work, and hoist two yrs old into her clothes.
I really HATE that!!
Just got in, expected DH to have started on the tea.. but found him sitting behind the computer. Not even THOUGHT about what to cook. He's now off to the shop to buy chips... grrrrrrrr....
It's HIS week to cook as he gets off work at 4:15, and he's supposed to pick up kids from the sitter and start dinner before 5:30. Not so hard you would imagine but this is day 4 this week where I came home and found him either on the phone or behind the computer. Makes You wonder who the "woman" is around here? :rotfl:
grrumble...
He just doesn't get it. I'd have words with him, but not with kids around, and by the time I get home from line dancing tonight I'll be too tired and too late in the evening.
So no flying today.. (grrrr )
and none tomorrow either as I'll be working the whole day.
Becca
(in a grumble mood)0
