I think I'm working to my own list a bit this week, but as long as I'm still working that's OK - isn't it?
I've dusted the living room and vacuumed that, the hallway and kitchen and up the stairs. I'm going to do my bedroom on Friday like last week, don't want to change the bed again after less than a week. Tomorrow I wash my daughter's bedding as it's her day off work and she has time to strip and remake it.
Today I had two loads of washing anyway, with muddy throws (the dog escaped when my husband was supposed to be drying her feet last night) and her muddy towels. It's nice that it's so mild but I won't miss the mud when it dries out. It will dry out, won't it? Please say it will.
I want to go through the pile of instruction manuals in the kitchen drawer and get rid of any there that belong to things we no longer own!0 -

DD has her room to do when she gets in and we need some ironing done.

Pollybear, dont throw them out. Someone is always looking for old instruction manuals. Try listing them on eBay instead. You'd be surprised.

Going okay today- got both kids bed stripped washed and remade with different covers, that should cheer them up a bit.
Also tidied and hoovered both kids rooms, not going to play catch up on bathroom and kitchens from yesterday - thats not what flying is about, but am going to give them both a quick daily swish and swipe - thats allowed isnt it?
I was going to tackle the airing cupboard, hence the change of bedding for the kids but that was as far as I got, its a bit of a mountain in there, so might be a job for a weekend soon.
Polly bear, yes please lets hope it will dry out soon, its so muddy here, the dogs are constantly upto their bellies in it (and they are labs so you can tell its muddy) not helped I'm sure by living 10 ft away from the river!!Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Well it's not going to dry out yet, it's been lashing down with rain here. Sun's out again now but the clouds are building too.0

Flying is going very slow today, seem to be glued to this computer. However, I have done some (although not a lot).
Best thing I've done so far today is purchase two 6.5 Litre Morphy Richards slow cookers for £19.99 each (web special offer). One for me - after my husband smashed the glass lid of the 4.5 litre SC I currently own - and one for my friend.
Looking forward to their arrival - I can then bulk cook my chili again!!
Hope everyone okay. Keep smiling

shell Does it get better? Well, there's a brief spell when they sleep through the night. Then they have sleepovers when they giggle until 5am. Shortly after that they go out to parties, and you either have to stay up to go pick them up, or you lie awake wondering if they're okay until they come in. Look on this stage as great training! I'm not sure about after they leave home as I haven't go that far yet.:rotfl:
Thanks to everyone for the hugs. :T Yes, I do need them! Really appreciate your support.
The main bedroom bedlinen is washed and in the tumbler right now. Washing up done, children's beds made, and all the upstairs hoovered (small house, so no point doing just the one bedroom!). Just off to make a stir fry for lunch in the hope DS1 may be tempted to eat, it's his favourite. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Not doing too badly for a 30 mins run around, having lunch and will then finish the bedroom, I have to go the the post office later as I have sold another two books on Amazon - many thanks Pigpen for pointing out Amazon Marketplace and also very well done with getting figure under £20k it's these milestones that make it all worth while.
Juliejim know how you feel my DD2 has only just started to stay in her bed and shes 4 1/2 although its not everynight she still manages to sneak into our bed a couple of times a month, it does get better slowly.0 -
