Tesco would be a BT Wholesale service, like the one you are already on with VM ADSL. Sky and TT are LLU services. The other good option you have on there is O2.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Thanks, macman
Does that mean that for me, Tesco speeds would be equal to my current VM speeds and that if I switch to Sky or TT LLU - I will in fact get EVEN FASTER SPEED?
That is really good news!0 -
Not possible to say, but I'd expect the 2 BT-based ones to be similar. Given your LLU options, I would be looking at Sky or O2 on my shortlist.
I've always found O2's speed predictions to be on the conservative side.
But if you are happy with 10MBps anyway, is it really the crucial factor? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Many thanks, macman. You are right, of course.
I am just being greedy ;-)
Now that I have noticed that TopCashBack are doing a £101 cashback, the 9 months half price deal with SKY is soooo much more attractive.0 -

My router is a Netgear DGN1000SP table top
I can not find it on the kitz site, but I looked at my NetgearWizard home page and this says:
"Wireless-N150 ADSL2 + Modem router DGN1000SP"
DownStream Connection Speed 20056 Kbps UpStream Connection Speed 1023 Kbps VPI 0 VCI 38
Not sure what I need to be looking at?0 -
