What little things have you been priced out of?

It says in the paper that 49% have been priced out of a sandwich for lunch and it is considered a luxury so they take packed lunches, got me thinking what other little things do you not buy anymore?
For me it is the weekly mags, womans own and bella, loved them, never buy them now they are 93p each and only ever if they have those weeks where it is special 50p, I miss them as well as the coffee, skinny latte cannot justify paying £2.49 for one so have that rarely, used to be a bit more laid back about buying plants/veg/fruit growing for the garden now only consider them from poundland, car boot sales etc.
I even stopped buying the sunday newspaper as that is £1.50 but now the sunday sun is 50p, not so keen on the paper but it is £1 cheaper:D

Going for a mooch around the shops. I live 10 miles from town and can't afford the petrol. I used to just pop in for a wander and to get out the house, now I only go when I absolutely have to and have a 'when I go to town' list of things I need to get.0

I've had a good hard think, and it seems to me that the only edible luxury I allow myself these days is chocolate...and even then only when it's on offer. I routinely go w/o things because I consider them to be more than I wish to spend on them at the time, but it's not the greatest hardship.
My big luxury is the health club, which costs £1500 pa. If I stop that, it'll be a completely joyless life...Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I miss my weekly browse round Debenhams makeup counters. I'd think nothing of picking up the odd Chanel lipgloss because i'd fallen in love with it. I still have the means to buy my little treats but i'm spending what money i do have on things that arent so indulgent and buying things we need rather than what i want. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Legs waxing, nails doing and my frequent trips to get hair done. Must admit I have had my legs waxed twice since December but I am 39 weeks pregnant and can't do it myself lol.0

I can't remember the last time I bought a magazine. I never used to spend loads of them but did like the occasional Cosmopolitan. Must be well over 18 months since I bought one now though - it really does seem like a luxury that I can't afford anymore.0

I don't buy fizzy drinks when I'm out and about anymore (I used to get through about 2 bottles a day oops)
I buy 1 2litre bottle when I do my food shop and tip it out into little bottles. Once it's gone, it's gone. Tbh I do miss it but it's horrifying to think I was spending £3 a day on that. I'm sure my dentist bills are going to be lower as wellSealed Pot Challenge #239

Mmm interesting - I don't consdier a bought sarnie a luxury - I consider it a less good version of something I could make easily and better!
I used to read magazines - bought Marie Claire for the free neals Yard cream - there was nothing in there worth reading!
I think the ability to just pop for a day out due to the cost of petrolPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Yeah ave to agree that the 500ml bottles are silly money. I bought a can the other ay and it was £1.20. What a joke.0 -
I miss our sunday morning coffee shop trips. It was our ony real treat, we used to go for coffee and cake. For three of us it was costing £12, now there is an extra addition to the family and we've had to tighten our belts.0
