Who with?Considering the rate is 6.1% & I got that...
Because according to http://www.whatsthecost.com/loan.aspx the repayments on that are £145.35 per month and you'll pay a total of £8,720.70 over the 5 years.
I'm not saying you're, er, lying. Just looking for some substantiation.0

Seeing as you've mentioned dd details - I hope this wasn't an online loan broker that asked for your bank details and will now charge you a fee and then try to find you a loan suitable for your requirements (and them more often than not come up with a guarantor loan company or a payday loan provider).
It would be very useful if you could say who its with - as maybe it will help others.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

I find it a bit weird that so many people on here are so determined that you won't get a loan. I don't think it is impossible by any means. It is probably not a wise thing to do, but thats a different matter. I know lending is tighter than it was but banks are still happy to lend money and I remember when I was 19 they couldn't wait to throw credit cards and loans at me.
There is also a right load of crap being spoken on here about car insurance and "fronting". Being insured as a named driver on a car that is legally owned and registered with someone else is not illegal (obviously!), and many insurers will allow the named driver (not the policy holder) to be considered as the main user of the vehicle. Provided its done with full disclosure there is no problem whatsoever.0

But it usually isn't done with full disclosure is it? If it was then the premiums would likely be pretty much the same.
And someone with a nice juice NCD that doesn't need to use it could "rent it out" to someone who has no policy history.
