    At the end of the day I know I probably won't get the figure I want, my mam was going to pens me the money but she's locked it away until 2015 as she's going travelling.

    Why not just save up for it ? Over 3, 4 or even 5 months you could save enough for a car plus pay for insurance.

    Are you saying you've been accepted at 7.5% APR?

    Or you've seen a loan advertised at that rate?

    That's a lenders BEST rate, the one they will offer to applicants with the VERY best credit rating / circumstances. You are not one of these people.
    I already described my circumstances and I couldn't get that rate. So if I can't you certainly won't.

    Also just because you can't get a loan doesnt mean I can't with them rates.
