  • If your dad will be using the car more than you why are you buying it?

You need to be very careful on the insurance front, it smells like fronting to me (which is fraud).

You already lack the financial discipline to save any money despite being in the best financial shape you are ever likely to be in with so few outgoings yet still feel the need to saddle yourself with a massive loan and pay off 1 years insurance and a handful of small debts over many, many years.

    Cut your cloth accordingly.

I'm buyin the car because as I've explained my dad has just re morgatged the house after his & my mams divorce so he's sold his car, & he will be contributing towards the cost of it when he can.

You remind me of myself at your age... fortunately for you banks won't lend money anymore for young people to make those catastophic errors in judgement and spend 6 years in the dog house :T

Good luck saving for the banger! :rotfl:

Yeah the whole thread is shizzle anyway because the chances of it happening are so ridiculous it's almost comical.

If Barclays approve you for 7k to spend on shash with an income of only 15k with debts already, a well used overdraft and payday loans on your record then I will gladly retire from the forum, replace my head with a cabbage and then go and live with my singing potatoes.

I wish you luck and it's been an enteraining thread but I would put £100 on instant rejection.

I've been offered a loan twice but chose overdraft, the payday shop I used wasn't like wonga so doesn't use credit agencies. Your right maybe I won't get £7,000 I'll keep you posted to show you up.

Josh - I really think you'll struggle getting a 7k loan given your salary / circumstances.

I got a 6k loan for a car 2 years ago. I was 28, a home owner with a great credit history and a 25k salary, and I found it quite hard to get someone who was willing to len me the cash.

The repayment figures that you have quoted for 7k over 60 months are for loans with the lowest interest rates out there, IF you did manage to get a loan, there is NO WAY you would be offered one with these rates.
