Yeah, dont buy a £3k car....
    I'm 27 with a 6 year NCB, I'm looking at £3k cars

My first was one of those swifts, they're great.
You might be a perfectly safe driver, but the insurance company doesnt know that, or do you for that matter, you might buy a £3k car and drive it into a wall.

    OP

I see you've taken out payday loans in the past from another thread - taking out payday loans is usually seen as a big negative to potential mainstream lenders, at least in the short term.

Maybe 1 loan taken out and paid back the following month might not be a major issue, if you've had more than 1, or rolled them over then that on top of all the other information you've posted is probably the last nail in the coffin for you getting the loan you want anytime soon.

If at your age and still living at home and paying no rent you are already resorting to payday loans them I would have a very close look at your finances and budgeting abilities. Taking on a large loan (even if you coudl get one) does not sound a good idea.

The payday lender I used went of bank statement not credit check so doesn't & never will show on my report. I only had it when I started working was young.

  • Josh, how much can you realistically afford to pay pm, if you got the 7k loan?

You would be looking anywhere from 200 - 350 pm, depending on how long u want it out for..

Try your main bank, you never know. Only you will know if you can keep up with the payments.

    Which payday lender was it?
Have you checked the account is not on any of your 3 credit reports?

A lot of payday lenders do report the account & conduct to the credit reference agencies, even when they don't do an initial credit check with the credit reference agencies.

I want it over 5 years, so would be around £135-£200.
