1 1/2lb off for me this week, more than happy with that seen as it is * week and I was brave and wore my new jeans (size 14 :T) rather than the thin trousers that I normally wear - they are heading for the bin because they are HUGE on me now! I am also in the 11 stones now :j.
I am aiming for another 1 1/2lb off next week so I can get my 2 stone sticker, fingers crossed.
Well done on all the losses, can't believe the 5lb one! That's amazing, I would love that right now :rotfl:Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
1lb on for me this week
tho i am ok with that, as its "week 4" as i call it (as some of you may know i dont get periods, i am on depo injection, but every 4th week i have a small gain or a STS)
i am still below target (tho only 1lb now) so i will cut back on the HEXs this week and see if i can get 3lbs below target before i go away in my caravan for 5 days next month!0 -
If I write all my food down please feel very free to correct/shout/bark at me. All will be helpful. A bit about me I am retired and not active mainly due to meds for atrial fibrillation . These meds are being changed this week so not looking forward to that!
My food today--- green
b—2eggs/tomato and 3 ryvita (heb)
l---- HM lentil/veg &bean soup
d--- potatoes/beans cheese (hea)
sn – tomato/wholemeal roll (heb) / grapes and yogurt (0.5)
syns – mayo-1/wine-15 (2 and a half glasses)
How many syns do you allow a bottle of wine? I and OH share a bottle at dinner some nights with me getting the lions share!!!:rotfl:
Welcome back Annie, so sorry to hear of your losses. Can't imagine what you must be/have been going through even though I lost my Dad unexpectedly to lose 2 sisters so close together must have been soul destroying. Big hugs to you.
As to your menu, I do mostly green and while yours looks fine I would advice adding more superfrees. I know you don't 'have' to on green but the more superfrees you eat the better imo. So I always add an onion and some tomatoes to nearly every main meal. Also add mushrooms and other veg but not always. Can't hurt can it
Well done to all the losers especially the 4 & 5lb'ers massive well dones there. I am always here just not posting much, have lost my mojo a bit and am still struggling to maintain. You all are probably thinking whats she moaning about as shes a target member but I am desperate to NOT go back to the way I was. I feel like I only come on here to moan [SORRY]. Will go back to posting my menu to help me keep on track. Sorry to be a bore
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Definitely not a bore TIE - and it's a reminder to all of us that this is for life not just until we reach target. I think that's why so many people end up going down the slippery road because they expect that all the problems have been solved once we get to target.
None of us got here overnight and most of us have food issues which need to be constantly dealt with so thanks for keeping that in perspective for all of us.Mediterranean Mum

We definitely don't see you as always moaning TIE I enjoy your posts. I know exactly what you mean about feeling a bit of a cheat on here as a target member. I, too, have been back to posting my menu lately to get me back on track after my holiday gain.Thank you all for your words of sympathy and your welcome. And TIE we all need you for your advice and encourgament. Thanks maman for the info on wine. I will be aiming to do the same (if I can manage to reach the weekend:o)

Good luck Annie. I don't always manage it either, like tonight when I opened a bottle of rose to have in the garden.:o
Sainsbury's meringue nests (pk of 8) are 2.5 syns each which isn't bad if you want to make an Eton Mess or similar. If you have strawberries, raspberries and some Total yogurt (and sweetener if you want it) that's a great pudding.
I did the same as you piglet and went on holiday right at the bottom of my target range. It's a good feeling that you have up to 6lbs to play with when you're away if you want to. Iwas only thinking tonight that SW are clever (?) keeping the target range to within 3lbs either way. That's really quite tight. If you look at it benevolently then they want to help keep you on track. Looked at cynically, they want to make money.;)
I've had an up and down day today but I'm not going to WI this week (out with a friend) so I'm deciding I have over a week to sort things out.
B: HEB porage and banana, HEA milk for teascold pork, new potatoes, stir fry veg
BUT...DH and I had a day out at a NT property and stopped for a snack at lunchtime. We had a round of sandwiches, pkt of crisps and a slice of cake. Only good bit was we shared it rather than having one each. Could have been worse!!
Back on plan 100% tomorrow definitely!!!0 -
Morning all. Another hot and sunny day here in Wales. I had agood day food wise yesterday:
B - alpen light bar (1/2 HEB), banana, pear
L - lettuce, tomato, peppers, sweetcorn, spring onions, chicken; mullerlight
snacks - couscous pot (1.5 syns), alpen light bar (1/2 HEB), mullerlights, pears
D - sirloin steak, baked potato, tomato, mushrooms, 3 onion rins (9 syns?); pear & banana
For being away from home I think I did pretty well though I have guessed the syns for the onion rings. Will try to follow the same today as well then I am heading back home to the rain on Thurs.
Hope you're all wellMortgage Aug 22 £280,000
