    thank you! :D

i might have to go to morrisons more, our tesco seems to be cheaper but hardly has anything in and only seems to cater for chavs wanting ready meals and booze  the M fresh stuff is so much nicer and has a massive selection, DH was even shocked to find a box of proper ginger root and turmeric roots (i think thats what it was anyway - i was trying to rush round and he was acting like a toddler going "look at this! ohhhh look at this! LOOK!" at everything).

it depends how you want to look it, my homemade soups are all just SF and stock, with potato or squash in it so i count them as free and don't bother eating more SF food because i know I'm getting a massive chunk anyway. if you follow the strict 1/3 must be SF then id guess you'd have to add in a small side salad or some fruit for dessert. also depends if you do 1/3 SF per plate or 1/3 SF per whole day and you felt you had enough over the day to be 1/3 SF.

oohh let us know what it's like! were back off to new york in summer and i was thinking of ordering a veggie one because I've heard they are the best options for dieters but if the low fat ones good ill have that!

Ok, will do, I will also take a picture of it on my phone :D

Thanks! I think on days when I make soup, I'm basically doing EE anyway since my soups tend to be all veg with a bit of spud, pasta or beans in, but it's good to have it explained.

:T well done on the loss.
You can set your own personal target weight, but they are unlikely to let you go below a "healthy weight" target.
    To quote their website :
Knowing your Body Mass Index (BMI) is a useful guide to the healthy weight range for your height. The government and medical profession use BMI to assess weight in relation to height for both men and women.
At Slimming World we’ll never tell you what you should weigh or what your target should be to. We know how much more committed we are to achieving something we want to achieve rather than something we're told we should do – and that’s why you decide where you want to get to – and we’ll help you every step of the way! If you need a touch of help the BMI calculator serves as a guide for most of us. You can also use our own Weight Range Chart for another way to view your weight to height ratio and to help you set your weight loss goals and track your progress.

So here's a link to their chart too.

Thank you. It's not that I want to set a low target, but I want one above the supposed yellow healthy weight section. I am naturally very curvy, and without having a bust reduction (which i'm not planning!) that weight isn't how I want to look. I want to be a toned size 14-16, because that's how i'm happiest. just worried they will tell me that's too heavy by the chart. also i've got quite a lot of heavy muscle from sea swimming.

    Will do. Thanks :)

I'm not mad on vegggies either. What works for me is roasting root veggies with some fry light. Whenever I cook potato wedges, which is a lot, I also do some swede, celeriac or carrots at the same time. Just soften them in the microwave first for 3-4 mins, then spray with fry light, sprinkle with seasoning if you like, and oven bake at 200ish for 30-40 mins.

B - Weetabix, milk, banana. (heA, heB)
L - Seabass, big salad, slad cream xl, plums, yoghurt. (2 syns)
D - Chicken, potatoes, carrots, sweetcorn, broccolli, onion and mushroom gravy.

Plums were still hard, and didn't feel like the yoghurt. I did have 2 cheese big snack a jacks between breakfast and lunch. Are they 2 syns each?

So 6 syns so far, I will have some more syns later for supper...

I think I am getting into the swing of this again x

    My food diary for today:

    B - mullerlight; pear
    S - Walkers Stars (4.5 syns)
L - roasted peppers stuffed with savoury rice; satsuma
S - babybel light (HEA); mullerlight; banana
D - jersey tatties, grilled chicken breast, hard boiled egg, mange tout, lettuce & spring onions

I had to laugh when I asked the family what they wanted for tea - DD begged for "proper Pasta Bake made with a jar". lol, poor wee soul, we used to have that a lot but haven't had it since I saw how many syns were in a jar; I made it for them and have managed (so far) not to pick at it!

    Good evening :)

I'm having an amazing SW day, all green and I feel great, I love the fact you can have 2 heb, I've discovered a love for ryvitas with phili tomato and basil light. nomonomonom

I got into a size 16 jeans today :j so I may not be losing lots of 1lbs but I am definitely losing inches. I must say I am chuffed to bits!

Went for another 4 mile walk again today, so that's 12 miles I've walked since Monday! :j Bring on WI tomorrow night, even if it's a 1lb I will be thrilled considering I had a terrible SW weekend, scoffing on things I definitely shouldn't have been scoffing! It may catch up with me next week or I may regret it tomorrow night at WI but at the minute I don't care, I really feel fantastic!

    Diary for today
    B - Mullerlight
    S- Mullerlight, strawbs, raspberries, grapes
L- Homemade veg soup, 3 ryvitas with phili light tom and basil
S - Weight watchers Lemon and Lime Yoghurt
D - Wholemeal pasta with courgettes, tomatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms, chillis and garlic

Drinks, herbal teas and lemon wedge in hot water. And bottled water.
If I can fit anything else in I will be having ryvitas with phili and a yoghurt......I am ready to burst though, it's the veg......my body is wondering what the heck is going on!

spot on, xenical and orlistat is one and the same thing.
I think when you celebrate your wedding anniversary you should eat what you fancy within reason, chill out and you never know your body may just produce a loss :rotfl: it has happened before and will again. I have heard people say this, apparently your body gets used to having so little so now and again eat a bit more and its supposed to jog your metabolism back into gear :rotfl: give it a try, and good luck :j

    I completely agree!

    Hi
have just found this thread by googling and have skimmed a few posts but missed loads so please forgive me if all this has been said before. I've done SW in the past and have all the info on red and green days. I'd like to try EE and I think I understand how it's done but how does soup fit in? I've got the SW Little Book of Soups and it gives syns for EE but doesn't explain how you fit soup into the plan. It's the rule about 1/3 veg that bothers me. Does a helping of syn-free soup count the same as a plateful of free food which is 1/3 superfree? Or is soup more of a snack on EE?

Our last consultant said of the extra easy plan and recipes that we should always try to add the one third superfree to our plate because it wasn't always included in the recipe particularly if its a red/green recipe. If soup, bit difficult to have salad.... so I would try to include as much SF as possible in the actual soup.
Just one, that's a good reason to behave! :rotfl:
I also have another reason to stay on track, a certain JEALOUS man at the class who only stays to class if he has worked out that he has won SOTW or SOTM.
He takes the money and asks everyone how they have done, he knows the good losers and the continuous losers, and when he sees me he always says, Oh! look what the cat dragged in. The jealous B******
His face last week was a picture, he thought he had got SOTM and had a face you could slap hard with such a smirky grin on it, so when the consultant said, slimmer of the month, he looked at me and grinned, then the grin was wiped off his smarmy face when my name was called.
He got up pretty smartly and went outside with a murmered comment! Absolute classic.

Oh my, I can't believe that. That shouldn't be allowed. He should be banned from getting it.
