Signed up for the she said beauty offer!
Does the first box go out right away does anyone know? It says first box June 2012 sent end of may - obv end of Mays already gene!
Thanks0 -
I got my LuxBox and Amitee boxes. I only had time to look at them briefly, but love the LuxBox apart from one dubious item. Everyone who subscribes will know what I mean, as we have all got the same boxes.
I was disappointed with the Amitee box at first impressions, but it may grow on me.
I posted after a very brief glimpse as went away for a few days not long after. My 2nd impressions are both are good, but the LuxBox wowed me the most, and will use everything.
Here are my thoughts (in white):
LuxBox
My favourite of the two;
Di Palomo, Hand and Nail Cream (Wild Fig & Grape) - I love this. It has a beautiful scent, and has made my hands feel really soft.
The Rosebud Perfume Co Mocha Rose Tube - A gorgeous chocolate vanilla scented lipbalm. It makes my lips feel moisturised, with a sheen.
Murad, AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (30ml)- I haven't used, but looks like something I'd like.
Papier Poudre, Rachel Booklet - I love this, and used for travelling. The Dark/Medium suited me perfectly, I used to buy the Bodyshop's years ago, so was nice to see, and will definitely buy again.
Sensationelle, Flicktips - I laughed when I saw these, but now think they may work for dramatic eyes. I am quite heavy on eyeliner, but sometimes bodge up the flick bit.
I love the whole box. Its all good! :T
Amitee, Pamper Secrets box
These are all good quality products, but didn't have the oomph, and luxurious feel that LuxBox had;
Botanicals Chamomile facial skin polish (Chamomile 5mg) - This looks a lovely natural product so am keen to try, as my face is really oily at the moment.
Paul Penders Time-Release Jasmine Shampoo (60ml)- A marvellous seeming product based on organic olive oil that I am keen to try. A good-sized sample.
Ava stressed hand cream (18ml)- I haven't used yet as using the one from the other box, but it looks like its a good one.
Sandorin soft peeling mask (sachet) - This looks quite good, as my skin needs a boost.
Eldora false eyelashes (H114) - I will attempt to wear now I've got them, but was a little disappointed at first as prefer natural.
My favourite from this box was the shampoo, as had never heard of, but sounds innovative, so is worth keeping for now.

I've just subbed to SSB, such a bargain! I'm keeping Amarya, and Luxbox out of my regular monthly subscriptions, as I don't want more than 2 regular payments coming out.
I will cancel Amitee as have been on the fence about them, although ok. I thought I'd signed up for a regular monthly LuxBox, but sure I've read somewhere on here that this isn't the case? I would like one regularly, so could someone please clarify?New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -

That might be my fault - I signed up to Lux Box on the one-month plan and assumed that my box would be here when I got back from holiday. BUT the boxes were all late due to Royal Mail AND when I checked my account history it only had one box showing (my first one) so I thought it wasn't a rolling sub.
It does appear to be a rolling monthly sub - even though the "order history" section of you account only shows one order.
They took payment on 2nd May for the last box but no payment showing as yet in my bank account - although that may be down to the extended bank holiday.
Have I made that sound far more confusing than it really is?Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
LAST DAY TO GET SHESAID BEAUTY BOX DEAL! (60% OFF 6 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION - CODE = JUBILEE60)

Got My Amitee box in, my first ever box and it was the bridal one, When i opened it i have to say i was dissapointed. Everything looks cheap and nasty BUT having tried everything (because i like to blog my reviews) I absolutely love the Paul Penders Jasmin shampoo and the Alva handcream and skin oil. I would seriously purchase those and have found they have made amazing differences just over the week.
I got the eyelasheswon't wear them so if anyone needs eyelashes PM me lol.
My box had: (done in white although pretty pointlesssince i got excited and put up the photo)
Paul Penders Jasmine shampoo
Botanicals Chamomile facial serum
Alva handcream
Alva Skin Oil
Eldora eyelashes H106 gradient ones.
Paul Penders
I have also signed up for Amarya (paid on the 25th for the monthly subs) apparently their cut off for the june was may 21st so i will get a box in july not june BUT they said they will take another payment on the 25th of June so effectively i will have paid twice but only recieve one box (july's??) surely this doesn't seem right??
Any ideas or advice? I have emailed and FB but dont seem to be getting anywhere?Blogger / Money SaverMake £2022 in 2022 Challenge - Accepted0 -

Your box would have been more worth it for me, as would have much preferred the skin oil, and serum to what I received. I dislike their profile set-up as is not specific enough, and therefore found the boxes weren't as catered to my needs as I would have liked, so cancelled.New forum. New sig. I'm afraid that's the way it works with Amarya, I'm always one payment ahead like you, if you know what I mean. You will definitely not be paying for the same box twice, it just means you have to pay for 2 boxes before you recieve your first, you will be charged on the 25th every month now, for the box being dispatched on the 7th of not the next month, but the one after. E.g. you pay for September's box in July. I would recommend sticking with it though as the boxes have really nice stuff. I don't really mind too much as they need to know quite far in advance how many subscribers they have for each month so they can order it all in0
