Am disappointed I missed out on the SSB box offer.
Would def have gone for the 6 month sub as it sounds like a great offer! Got my 2nd glossybox after coming back from hol and am quite pleased with it. Really like the neal's yard rose moisturiser, the noble isle bath and shower gel smells lovely and the lashes look nice - never tried before (are they easy to get off/ do they stay on well?). Not sure about the gel eyeliner in brown (will give a try) and def not interested in the perfumes. No golden ticket sadly. Sadly the cashback amount has changed for glossybox so will prob not be getting the next one unless an offer comes up. Have tried reading the posts that I missed out on (as I was away for 3 weeks) but it sounds like I missed out on the best deal which ended yesterday. Does anyone know if there any offers on beauty boxes (with cashback or codes) at the mo where it costs about £5 for the box. It's unfortunately about all I can afford on little luxuries at mo.

It's a shame you missed the SSB deal. Don't think there's any boxes you can get for £5. The cheapest one works out as the Glossybox 12 month subscription if you can afford to pay the whole thing upfront, as there is £50 cashback on topcashback, you also get 2 boxes free so overall works out as £7.11 per month delivered. To do the same on a 6 month subscription works out £7.95 delivered. You would probably need to set up a new GB account to be safe getting the CB though.
There were some nice things in GB I agree, haven't tried the lashes yet as haven't had the occassion to, have previously only used pre-glued and they wern't too easy!0 -
I'll have to wait until Saturday for my Amarya box, as I have it delivered to work, and avoid any spoilers tomorrow (it does seem to arrive very quickly compared to other boxes after despatch).
I absolutely loved the Lavera cream from last month's box and the lip gloss was really good. Not a colour I would have ever have gone for, as corally tones don't tend to suit me but this one did.0 -
How do you use for conditioning? On wet hair after shampooing, or on dry hair then shampoo out?
I'm keen to know what works well.
For years I used olive oil as a hair mask and I tend to use the argan oil the same way ie as a mask/treatment rather than for styling.
I either apply it liberally before bed, blast my hair with a hairdryer to warm the oil and then let it sink in overnight OR I warm the oil and apply it to wet/dry hair, wrap in clingfilm to keep the heat in and let it sit for at least an hour.
I also add it to my henna before applying.
I know a lot of people add it to shampoo and conditioner but I haven't tried that. Obviously my personal opinion would be that if you use any oil on your hair, you should wash it out with an SLS-free shampoo. But I spent years doing olive oil treatments and then using "normal" shampoo and it always helped with frizz and softness.
If I'm honest though, I use my argan more as a skin treatment than for my hair.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

I'm surprised by just how many of us have gone from being unconvinced by that lipgloss to really liking it. I would never have bothered buying it because I was of the opinion that all lipglosses were pretty much the same.
Lovely to see a Beauty Box actually working and bringing new brands to us that we're glad we triedLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

I used the Lavera cream from my Amarya box for the first time this morning. Its wonderful. Even though I have a stash of body cream, can see myself purchasing when this runs out. Its inexpensive too.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0

My Amarya box just arrived!! Was so excited but excitement has worn off now, so I got..
Some Aloe Vera Cleansing Gel 100ml so full size and £22 on the site, smells lovely, I dont really need any cleanser as I'm a big Liz Earle fan but I guess I'll use it at some point.
And 2 samples: a BB cream and an anti Aging serum, nice to try them but I actually looked in the box again to make sure I hadnt missed anything!
I know it's great getting a pricey full size product but I was expecting a mini size of something else as well, as you can never really tell by a 1/2ml sample if you love something or not. Is it generally 1 full size item and 2 tiny samples?
Ta dah! Hope everyone elses arrived soon so we can discuss! xxNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0
