Fab post Purple!! And that picture is just so funny!

I must say I've yet to try Argan oil but it's not on my to try list!!

You won 2 lots of LE stuff! Wow good job, I never seem to even see competitions like that! I love my LE stuff but I wouldnt buy the cloths from them either, just when they're in a set or as a freebie!

We still have some bits from when Chloe was little but I'm itching to go our shopping! I think we'll stick to the more bright funky colours anyway rather then the pale pinks etc! xx

Purplebutterfly- thank you so much for posting back with such an informative and well composed answer to my queries. It must have taken ages and I am extremely grateful that you have taken the time to share your knowledge (expertise:p). I shall spend a little time looking up the sites you have suggested and just try a few things. If my local H &B sell the pure Argan oil, I'll start with that and post a review for you all.

I have only just jumped on the beauty box bandwagon but am hooked. Had to confess new addiction to OH this evening. Luckily he is fairly indulgent and lets me get on with it. I don't drink or smoke or even go out much (three children) so my vice is looking as nice as I can and that generally keeps me happy. I do have a ton of stuff to use up but just love the idea of trying new products all the time and like others, finding some favourites along the way. The argan oil is going to be one of them for sure.

Thanks again purplebutterfly, really appreciate it.

More than happy to help - any excuse to think/talk about Morocco :D The only thing I can guarantee is that I will never be able to give an unbiased opinion of anything Moroccan because I am so utterly enchanted by the country and its people.

Just buy whatever you can afford (cheapest) and then, if it doesn't do anything for you, you haven't wasted too much money.

I love goats - spent half the holiday playing with the ones where we stayed and the other half eating them in tagines, yummy! :rotfl:

Lux box has arrived: mini spoiler in white on the next line which most of you will like:
    NO LASHES!

Now onto the actual contents of the box, also in white!

Flick tips 'Eyeliner extensions' - £8.99 - little black designs you stick on the outside corner of your eye, basically. I got the party range, doubt I'll get a whole lot of use out of them - also one's missing! Just one! How did that happen?!
Papier poudre, Rachel - £1.65 (assuming pack of 12) - mattifying/blotting papers basically. I love these, I have superdrug's own and these seem very similar. They rip out easier, one bonus? Apparently Rachel is for medium/dark skin but I have fairly pale skin and they're fine for me.
Di palomo Fig & Grape hand cream - £2.30 - it IS lovely, but personally I buy vaseline's pink one by the boatload and it's not the same so won't be replacing it.
Murad AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser - £3.30 - people got excited about this on the facebook page, I have to confess I don't know much about beauty so I can't say a lot, but it'll definitely get used.
Rosebud mocha rose lip balm with vanilla - £7? - couldn't really get an accurate price on this one, it's in a tube. Tastes/smells chocolatey - I stopped eating chocolate at new year and this feels like I'm cheating! :p Wish it had an SPF really.

    Total £23.25

All in all love the box! Shall be keeping it on another month :D

I got my box too, but cancelled as I can't keep so many beauty boxes.

I got exactly the same as you Frittered Away :)

I like the hand cream, it's non greasy and sinks in quickly, and has a nice scent. I have dry hands so I will always welcome a new hand cream!

The lipbalm smells so strongly of vanilla, even before I took the plastic off I could smell it! It's lovely!

The Murad looks like it will be good, I tested a bit on the back of my hand and felt exfoliating but not abrasive.

The powder papers were too dark for me. If I pick up a tan this summer I could use them (or try them as bronzer!)

I found the liner stickers odd, definitely wouldn't use them except for a fancy dress party - kind of an equivalent to false lashes for me really:D

I got my LuxBox. Thought I'd got a one off as I didn't realise it was a rolling subscription like the others. Got the same as above.

Also got my Pamper Secrets. >\ If I ever see another pack of Eldora lashes I will scream!!! Not going to spoil the rest though ,)

Oooh Luxbox sounds good - jealous! I have 4 boxes coming this month now so must not re-sub!

Congratulations miclare on a good scan! Just a shame you didn't get a definite on the baby being a girl. I have bought lots of brights too, this is my fave! Multi_Stripy_Sleepsuit.jpg
